Runas April 11, 2017 Share April 11, 2017 I will do my best to update this every day. I am still a little bit skeptic, but I do believe the human brain is a wonderful and complex system, so I suppose anything could work if I try hard enough! I'm just in love with the idea of tulpas and would absolutely love to have my own, so I pray this works out. Day one Monday, April 10th, 2017 Started off as soon as I got home; sat in bed up against the wall and meditated while listening to quiet celestial white noise for about an hour before dozing off, which I'm unsure if that's a good or bad thing. First thing I did was imagine my tulpa, Mink, sitting on the ground of our wonderland, a beach at sunset. I looked at him from every angle I could imagine and focus on, listing off his personality traits and telling him his name, as well as telling him he's welcome in my world. Hopefully this is a decent start! I will be working on this more tomorrow. I will attempt to imagine him with me for the rest of the night, as well as much as I can tomorrow throughout my day. I will most likely briefly slip in and out of daydreams to imagine him and work on his form and personality traits more throughout my day. This will probably take a while, but I'm hoping all this hard work pays off! Day Two Tuesday, April 11th, 2017 Messaged my local Buddhist temple earlier. I briefly brought up the subject of tulpae, so hopefully there will be someone who can help me meditate and/or learn more about the phenomenon. I briefly imagined my tulpa following behind/beside me as I walked to and from school, as well as a few times during the day. I'm planning on meditating and installing more of his personality traits, most likely in a few minutes before I go to sleep. I am still a little skeptical, especially after hearing the opinions of others, but I'm going to keep trying to bring my tulpa to life. I will hopefully visit the local Buddhist temple sometime this week, so I'm hoping I will get to speak to someone about tulpae.
tulpa001 April 11, 2017 Share April 11, 2017 Hello and welcome to the forum! I would feel rather weird asking someone else for their faith. So it is okay to be a sceptic. I hope you see some interesting stuff even if you don't end up with a tulpa. Host comments in italics. Tulpa's log. Tulpa's guide.

Mermaid and AI April 11, 2017 Share April 11, 2017 I don't have many inhibitions around religion, so I'll jump the gun. What is your faith, Runas? I'm a Christian myself, which gave me skepticism but I figure the brain's capable of quite a bit. Mer- Host. Salty, angsty teenage mermaid. Felix- Tulpa. In progress. An optimistic, spontaneous suit of Spartan armor.
Runas April 12, 2017 Author Share April 12, 2017 I don't have many inhibitions around religion, so I'll jump the gun. What is your faith, Runas? I'm a Christian myself, which gave me skepticism but I figure the brain's capable of quite a bit. I'm not currently involved with any religions, but I've been considering taking a visit to my city's local Buddhist church for a while. I messaged them today and will hopefully stop by for a visit sometime this week.
