Disappearing Tulpa - I'm freaking out right now

Recommended Posts

So Khoja and I had a bit of a disagreement a few days ago, but we worked it out and everything was fine. So yesterday, I'm talking to a friend of mine on Facebook about a webcomic, and I start feeling sort of sad, but it feels like it's coming from her, not me, so I ask her what's wrong, and she says that she feels like I'm not spending as much time with her as I used to and she's worried I don't care about her and all that, and I said to her that I do care and I didn't realize I was spending less time with her, and that even if I wasn't, if she wants to spend more time with me, all she has to do is ask and I'll be happy to oblige. I asked her to give me a few minutes to finish the conversation, and I'll do whatever she wants to do with her for the rest of the night, I'll keep myself awake all night if she wants. She felt very relieved to hear this, and said that the webcomic actually sounded pretty interesting, and I could tell her about it some more and maybe even read a few chapters to her. I said sure. She felt happy.

So I finish up the conversation in maybe ten minutes, and ask her what's up, does she want to talk about that comic still or do something else? I get no response. I go into the wonderland, and she's just gone. I looked all over, I tried sort of projecting my thoughts and trying to tell her that if she's upset and wants to be left alone, I'll leave her alone, I just want her to do something to let me know she's okay, and I got nothing.

So I'm really worried right now and freaking out pretty bad and posting this hoping maybe someone has some advice to give.

Ban me if I ever mention Telecasters again.

Give her some time. She's probably not gone, just away right now, and your stress isn't going to help you hear her. Take some time and focus and relax. You can still talk to her and she CAN hear you, even if you can't hear her. Talk to her gently, relax, listen to music. Clear your mind a bit. Then try again, see if you can focus on her essence and gently renind yourself she is still there.

Sounds like she was a needy burden anyway, you're better off without her.

I really wasn't giving her the kind of attention I should have, especially since she was still so young and our 'connection' or 'mental bond' or whatever you want to call it wasn't the strongest because of that.

Thank you, I'll try that. Just reading that is helping at least a little bit.

How long has it been? They often need to have some time to themselves. Or sometimes they get scared off by a dream or bad feelings; they're more sensitive to this when younger.

Being afraid that she won't come back will likely just scare her away for longer. Be confident that she will be back, because what's going on is normal. You might also try to reach out to her using this technique and apologize to her and comfort her.

She's definitely just taking some time to herself, as Chupi said. Tuplae need time to themselves, as all humans do. In the case of tuplae, that feeling is amplified, because you are with each other at every moment of the day. The only advice I could give is to try to make contact, but don't drag her back.

You can reach out to her by talking and imagining your voice traveling everywhere in your wonderland or mind, sort of a voice-of-god or PA system type thing. Or imagine having a phone that will reach her. Meditate, talk to her and try to get responses. When you get a response, try to determine why she went. If she decides she wants to come back, you can help her return by teleporting her to you. Imagine here there with the intent of teleporting her.

Note that at least for me, teleporting a tulpa doesn't work if they don't want to be teleported. It results in getting a lifeless and often indistinct form instead. By lifeless I don't just mean "doesn't move"; you know that feeling of aliveness your tulpa emits when you're around her... well, this doesn't. Actually, I hadn't really noticed the feeling of aliveness since it grew slowly as she came to life, but I *really* noticed when it wasn't there the time I fail-teleported her and got a dead form. Anyhow, if you end up with one of these, just poof it, it's nothing.

(If you're still having a problem)

Try just waiting and listening. You don't have to have your wonderland "rendered," just listen for her mindvoice. Since she doesn't have anyone else to talk to, eventually she'll open up again, and since you weren't chasing her down, she's less likely to be offended for whatever reason.

I just made this up on the spot, but it's worth a shot.
