Solune October 29, 2016 Share October 29, 2016 This thread is for the people who are considering leaving the site, or just feel like they have nothing to contribute to the current discussions (but still want to connect with somebody). Go ahead and post exactly what has you frustrated. I can't promise anybody else will respond to you, but I definitely will. Even if you just feel lonely and haven't found an excuse to post lately: this is your chance. I will respond to everybody that posts no matter what the post is about (please excuse any delay in response because I'm on Pacific Standard time). We can just talk things out and maybe try to fix whatever you feel is broken. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. glitchthe3rd October 29, 2016 Share October 29, 2016 I've just plain been too busy with real life stuff to post here regularly, also my tulpas are more or less "finished" which means there's nothing for me to talk about aside from the cute thing one of my tulpas did on a given day. That, and I guess I haven't been satisfied with the community lately for some reason. I've been posting on the tulpa thread in 4chan's /trash/ board more than I post here. I wasn't even aware there was a /trash/ thread about Tuppers... thank you for sharing that, I'll have to check it out. I'm not sure if you remember this, but we actually met on 8chan. You posted about your Luna and I posted about my Luna and thought it was odd how they had a lot of physical characteristics in common. http://prnt.sc/d0cpt0 R.I.P. 8chan... you were horrible and nobody loved you. lol. And yeah, I feel you about tuppers being finished and all that. I was hoping to make more solid connections with the people/tulpas here but it just never happened organically. And you don't want to force that kind of thing because it feels cringey to do so. But I guess this thread is a little cringey... so it's whatevs. Also, if you ever feel like squeeing about a cute thing you can always send that shiz my way. I have the same urge and rarely get to express it. We could even start a new cute things thread... idk man. Luna: YOUR LUNA IS PRETTY AND I LIKE HER. Even though I was originally mad my name wasn't as unique as I thought it would be (I chose it before I knew how popular it was). tulpa001 October 29, 2016 Share October 29, 2016 I came here to do research on my nature. I planned to leave when I finished. I finished. I'm mainly hanging around because talking about myself separately from my host is an effective separation exercise. I know, it is crass and insensitive. I could disappear at any moment. NateAndTheTulpaTrio October 29, 2016 Share October 29, 2016 I've never considered leaving the site permanently (actually just made a new account because I was still using my old username on my other) but I have left for years at a time just because of how slow things move here. There tends to be only about 3-4 posters that post on every single thread (they also change frequently) and I haven't helped with that, having been a lurker rather than poster for many years. I started hanging out on r/tulpas more recently just because reddit tends to have a higher poster to lurker ratio but that place has people who are subbed to the subreddit just to downvote every post created, so that negativity made me come and check back here for once. As an off-topic note, anyone know how many posts it takes to get your signature to show up? It's kinda annoying to switch accounts just to realize my signature I spent an hour formatting won't show up til I post more. I came here to do research on my nature. Don't feel bad about talking about yourself a lot, it really does help you feel like... you exist more? A more solid existence? I don't know how to phrase it, but as a tulpa who does it a lot too, I completely understand. You also shouldn't leave, this place is dying and needs people who post a lot like yourself. I'm here with my completely vocal tulpas; Rainbow, Asrielle, and Lapis. They might talk here sometimes, and when they do Rainbow will be italicized, Asrielle will be purple, and Lapis will be blue. We are currently able to do advanced visualization and we have the ability to switch. See profile for more info. Solune October 29, 2016 Author Share October 29, 2016 I could disappear at any moment. True of us all, tulpa... true. of. us. all... [video=youtube]http://https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijFm6DxNVyI In all seriousness, I hope you don't feel guilty about that sort of thing (or feel like you should even if you don't). It could be argued that ALL relationships are an effective distraction from our imminent mortality. So, if the basis of our interactions is pure selfishness... I won't hold it against you. In fact, it makes me respect you even more because you're clearly somebody who knows what they're about. I like the cut of your jib. I think part of the solution is just figuring out what people REALLY want to talk about and people like us making threads. Also, why are there not more guides for stuff like socializing/teaching? Sure, we have a billion ways to create a tulpa and perfect sensory/switching stuff... but I think a lot of people forget that a tulpa is just like a kid that doesn't know the stuff an adult takes for granted. Luna didn't know that the earth's core was molten/solid iron and molten rock and junk. She was completely blown away by that and it just slapped me awake and made me realize there were so many things she'd never seen/experienced before. I'm definitely going to make a thread about tulpas learning new stuff and how they reacted to it. **go to User Control Panel under Your Profile look for Change Signature click dat at the bottom of the screen you should see a little tab thingy that says "enable my signature for all existing posts" or whatever click dat update dat boom. And if for some reason that doesn't work... message a mod cause that was suppose to work. They want to talk about themselves. As brought up here, everyone just feels it is pretentious and arrogant to do so, so no one does unless opportunity arises. Also, my account just says "Note that your signature will be hidden on the forums until you have enough posts." So I was asking if anyone knew the amount of posts before it shows up :/ Obviously I haven't posted much on this account, but my old account only had about 30 posts and was able to have a signature so idk. Luminesce October 29, 2016 Share October 29, 2016 Like five or ten at most. @Tulpa You can leave when you want but the least you could do is say you'll be gone before you do. Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn. Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature. My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

I am glad that you have stuck around. It's always nice to have another good, reasonable user, and it seems to me that you have had quite an impact on some of the users here, and I really appreciate that. As an off-topic note, anyone know how many posts it takes to get your signature to show up? It's kinda annoying to switch accounts just to realize my signature I spent an hour formatting won't show up til I post more. You need only 5 posts for your signature to be usable. So, the next time you post in one of the non-Lounge boards, you'll be good to go. This is an anti-spam measure, as spambots will register with links in the signature and such. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
