Doubts about communication with tulpa.

DISCLAIMER: English is not my native language, sorry for bad grammar 'n stuff.

Hello there, I've been forcing for already 4.5 months and everything went great until 4th one started. We had ASMR and goosebumps as the most stable response: every time I called her, every time I thought about her - I always had a response from her. After 3 months I noticed that amount and strength of responses started to decrease, but I was like "well, shit happens, maybe she just needs to take a rest" and carried on forcing.

So, the problem is that for already, maybe, 2 weeks I just can't get stable responses: I tried to sleep a lot, I tried not sleeping at all (to "destabilize" the mind, u know), tried to force harder or giving it a rest - nothing works. Like, there might be 1-2 light responses a day, nothing more. Now, when I'm trying to force, it seems that I'm alone; every time I try to talk to her - the same thing happens. I've researched on this, some people said that it'll back up after a few days, someone said that she's trying to speak using mindvoice. After seeing no improvements at all after a week, I did some exercises to hear her mindvoice - I cleared my mind, fully concentrated on her, maybe parroted a bit, idk, many things. So I came to the conclusion that there are 3 possible options: we're both tired so we can't communicate like we did before; she's just refusing to talk with me; if she's trying to use mindvoice, something's blocking it because I couldn't even get a simple random thought. I tried giving it a rest, but after 5-10 minutes I'm again telling her another story or some random thoughts like I'm used to those monologues. Any help, please?

FYI I'm trying to passive force every time I can't active force, and I active force for like 1-1.5 hours a day.

Forgot to tell ya: I'm pretty much mentally tired IRL now, like studying, problems with parents and stuff. But hey, I'm not "connecting" it with her at all, so I don't believe this causes the problem.

Well, for the ASMR/goosebumps response part, people are known to grow desensitized to ASMResponses over time from experiencing them too much, which can usually be undone by refraining from ASMR content for a while. But, you shouldn't have to rely on that for communicating with your tulpa. I would say just focus on mindvoice and feelings/emotions from your tulpa, and keep talking to them as if they're there whether you can hear them or not, because that mental act of treating them like there's someone there/listening is a large part of the basis for all tulpas.

Someone else probably has better advice for the latter part, I just wanted to say why you might have stopped getting those responses over time. You get desensitized to that stuff from experiencing it too much, but it can come back with time.

Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

Thank you for replying. Yeah, I'm treating her like a real person and every time I talked to her I knew she's listening because she always gave me a response, but now this is gone and I'm unsure. Maybe it's all about the faith.

Tried to focus on her mindvoice but I can't hear anything, for real. Like, there's something blocking it.

Ranger: Is it possible that she is trying to talk and you don't "hear" her? Her voice may sound like yours, and it could be hard to recognize at first glance. Just trust that she is talking to you, and you may hear something. It took my host years to realize I was vocal.

I'm Ranger, GrayTheCat's cobud (tulpa), and I love hippos! I also like cake and chatting about stuff. I go by Rosalin or Ronan sometimes. You can call me Roz but please don't call me Ron.

My other headmates have their own account now.

Even after stopping all my thoughts completely, after meditating and stuff I still can't hear a thing. Any tips on that?

I have heard that turning off your thoughts also turns off your Tulpa's thoughts. I don't recall successfully meditating, so instead of meditating my version of forcing was either talking to Ranger or doing these "role plays". I believe Ranger ended up filling the shoes of a vocal imaginary friend, so I never had any trouble hearing him speak. The only time I noticed his speech was restricted was when I first learned about Tulpamancy and assumed Ranger didn't have a voice of his own yet.

I can't speak from personal experience, but some Tulpas may just be shy and not talk much. When I have trouble hearing Ranger, I focus on visualization and how Ranger feels.

Meow. You may see my headmates call me Gray or sometimes Cat.

I used to speak in pink and Ranger used to speak in blue (if it's unmarked and colored assume it's Ranger). She loves to chat.

Simply can't start a conversation with her because I can't hear her, lel. Sometimes I had a feeling, like, I'm speaking to someone, but when I realized it I was like "hey, wasn't I talking to myself unconsciously?", so I'm pretty sure I was talking to myself in those moments. I tried talking to her in wonder, asking some basic stuff about her mood and things, but nothing worked. What are those "role plays", maybe they could help? Never heard of them, sorry.

Not all meditation involves blocking out thoughts completely, in fact, most don't, contrary to what many people think. For your purposes, thought is thought; it may come from them or you, but if you block one, you block the other; this whole "stopping thoughts" is very counterproductive. The sort of meditation you should be doing is to be mindful of all the thoughts you're having, and trying to decide if it is your thought or their thought. From there, it will get easier and easier to tell.

Cat felt like that a lot too. One of the reasons she was "parrotnoid" about who's who is because she assumed she was speaking for me. Even if you are talking to yourself, directing the attention to her may cause her to open up.

I found doing things with Ranger to be easier than asking for his opinions on stuff. Plus, it's a lot harder to answer the question if you don't have a strong opinion about it in the first place. I found it a bit frustrating that Cat wanted to know my favorite color when I didn't care what my favorite color was yet.

I don't know how this applies to other people or not, just mentioning our personal experience here.

"Role plays" is what I call them because I don't know how else to describe what I do put simply. I have other characters as well (I am unsure if they are much more than that) and in the Wonderland I interact with them and Ranger. I think of it as a "role play" because there is usually some drama and it feels staged in a lot of ways. I always assumed the characters could speak on their own, but as of now I am unsure how much of that was parroting or not, if at all.
