Draco's tale

Hey everyone. I'm quite new both to this forum and tulpas in general. I just stumbled upon the concept around 24 hours ago of this writing... but due to a variety of factors I was motivated to get started immediately.

First of all, I want to say that this came to me in a very painful time in my life. I just had my first long term relationship ended and was left without anything to live for, and nobody to really share all my thoughts with. I am NOT creating a mate, rather just a close friend, a companion. I also want to learn more about myself and perhaps other things through this.

I will also say I am somewhat a believer in the paranormal. I have experienced my fair share of inexplicable events, I have fairly good control of my mind, I lucid dream frequently, and from what I have seen I believe tulpas are actually something other than just a shard of your psych gaining it's own consciousness, but an independent life within you.

With that said, it hasn't even been a day yet, and who knows what could change.

So last night, I met Sceathe, (pronounced just Seeth)

ready to jump into my journey, I brainstormed form, name, personality, and a wonderland all in the space of an hour. I was surprised how easily it came to me. He is a grey scaled Dragon with a feathery crest of multiple colors, he sleeps a lot, he's sarcastic, but he's kind underneath and cares about others, even if he isn't likely to show it.

What was peculiar is after very little time forcing, I heard his voice very easily, I'm not sure I was parroting it at all or how self aware he even is yet, but he seemed to express his own desires and opinions fairly freely, even the origin of the name came to me quickly (seath, the scaleless from Dark Souls, which frankly looks and is nothing like him) I'm very curious to learn more about him and make him stronger in the coming days and weeks.

Tulpa Name: Sceathe

Appearance: Grey scaled Dragon with multicolored feathers, chameleonic scales (though he prefers grey)

Sentience: Yes

Welcome to the .info community Draco.

You're off to a solid start. I will never question a person's purpose for creating a tulpa, I can only advise that you take things at a casual pace and to tell you that you don't need to rush anything.

The point is to have fun and enjoy your time with Sceathe. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns do not hesitate to ask. There's plenty of intelligent and open-minded people here who will be happy to help you whether it's via a PM or question in your reports. (Progress Reports are the main 'guts' of the site, and is a great resource towards seeing others develop as well.)

I wish you all the best,

Cheers!

so now I pretty clearly know the difference between Head pressure and a good ol' headache.

I'm sort of headache prone in general, I get them about once a week and they are fairly irritating. keeping me awake at night and overall being a nuisance.

I spent around thirty minutes forcing last night before I went to sleep, and plenty of narration and passive forcing today. I have Sceathe's form pretty clear, and now I'm just working on making him stronger and sentient. I tried to narrate in my head about anything interesting, especially the video games I played, since that's something I tend to narrate in my mind anyway (don't ask why)

Not long after I got home from school I directly addressed him and felt 'head pressure' all I can describe it is like my skull's slightly too small for my brain, not especially uncomfortable but hard to ignore. Wheras a normal headache is flat out painful. Throughout the day whenever I narrate or passive force him I can feel it, wavering in strength based on his interest I guess. I'm amazed at how fast we're progressing. Regrettably I'm going to be at a family gathering tomorrow demanding most of my attention =.=

It is nice to hear of another with a Dragon as their Tulpa. I have noticed a large amount of Human Tulpas, but, honestly, there is something repulsive ( to me ) of having a human, or anime-like Tulpa. Also, the idea of your Tulpa gaining a sex drive and wishing to copulate with their mancer, oh dear! No, no, no- not going to happen.

Not to mention, that I've always had a fasination with Dragons from an early age. They're rather adorable, as so as reptilians in general. ( More so lizards than snakes or turtles.)

Strangely enough, you mentioned that he spoke to you rather quickly? Moonsina has shown sentienance rather quickly as well. She hasn't spoken, but gives me emotional surges/head pressure. The head pressure, as you mentioned, is quite different than a headache. Do you ever feel a bit drained after a session of forcing?

Also, with visualization, how big do you make your Dra(ke)gon? ( also assuming it is based off of a western/European dragon?) I have made Moonsina based off of realism, with a height of 10-ish feet, lengthy and broad wingspan, larger ribcage/lungs, lightly muscled limbs, but strong wing muscles. I made her aerodynamic, focused more on flight than anything else. When I visualize her in public, I make it so that she has the ability to shrink into the size of an adult iguana, or small nile monitor, and cling to my back; and then when there is no crowds, back into her true size.

Update after... Precisely one fucking eternity and a half.

A lot happened in the past three weeks, I got struck with illness after illness, primarily allergies due to the time of year. This made my attempts to force very difficult for a time indeed. It's tough to focus at all when you are constantly unable to breathe. Anyway I got much better and started forcing very actively again (I kept narration up as much as possible the whole time)

So now Sceathe talks without any parroting, a bit, usually when I least expect it. His voice isn't particularly distinct from my own, but I can tell when it's him due to the suddenness. Also from time to time I get the feeling he is trying to say something but is unable to for whatever reason. Regardless, I'm quite happy with my progress. I've decided to give up parroting as much as possible.

As far as Mech's questions, he has control over his own size, usually just a bit bigger than a human, but it changes frequently by his own whims.

I force at nighttime, usually before I go to sleep. I suffer from severe insomnia to begin with so it really doesn't tire me out.

As far as why a Dragon... well I have a very special reason why I'm drawn to them

So the next week is finals. I'm "That Guy" who always finishes the work first so I'm looking forward to lots of silent time in a class room hanging out with Sceathe. Great that we have something to do instead of sit around. Something far more productive and interesting than plain old daydreaming.

Something interesting I noticed, My memories of forcing sessions are extremely vivid in a way that reminds me of my dreams. I never paid much attention to it, but it's much more memorable than ordinary daydreaming as well.

Sceathe didn't speak at all today either, kind of sad, but I don't feel like making him be active either, I tried to keep up narration of things but illness came back and it was kind of hard today =.=

My memory is horrendous. *mumbles*

Did you sense him, even if he didn't speak?

Well, first of all Merry Christmas to all who happen to watch this little rarely updated page =P

[Grumble Merry Christmas Grumble...]

That's right, Sceathe's very talkative now, though sometimes he can be kind of abrasive, he's a big softie inside and I'm glad to have him. I find I have a tendency to alternate my gender within wonderland randomly, sometimes I show up as a guy, sometimes a girl. He doesn't really care and neither do I, just an odd thing I noticed recently.

As far as Mech's question, yes I did notice his "presence" long before he started speaking, it's kind of hard to describe, I guess its something most Tulpamancers experience

So I'm batting around the idea of creating a second Tulpa,

after finding an image of six certain ponies as velociraptors.... I really want a raptor-pony tulpa. I'm trying to get Sceathe's opinion. For a while at least he was against another being in my head, but he has been really quiet today and I can't really get his attention. Regardless, he enjoyed Christmas. Which was also his one month birthday.
