Dual-core Brain with Tulpae

Recommended Posts

I have noticed there are three main reasons why people make tulpae:

1. The visual part - mostly pony tulpamancers

2. Companion - those in need of a friend

3. And Objective thinker

So lets talk about the third one. Of course we all know a tulpa is not a tool, but that doesn't mean it won't want to help us wether because it likes it or as a token of gratitude for us entertaining it.

I'm not talking about tulpae doing our homework for us, though if it likes math thats alright.

But it also could help us with arts we perform or our life problems and other things.

Did/Do you make a tulpa for that reason? What do you think about the idea? What are the important personality traits to make our tulpa want to help us?

This here. A sizable part of my reasons for making a tulpa have to do with art; I'm very curious as to what sort of work an artistically-inclined tulpa would be able to produce. I even fully intend to allow her to possess me once she's sentient and allow her to work hands-on, assuming she's up for it.

allow her to possess me

Is that confirmed to be possible? Do you mean possessing as in controlling your body?

I wanted to see what he can do with music so that we could compose together.

He can just tell me what notes should i put in and what instrument to use, so he could even compose a song all by himself.

One of reasons I make tulpa, is to have second opinion on my work. I'm computer artist and i make graphics. Sometimes i make some work that looks fine to me, but for other people it sucks. I think it wont be to exhausting for Her. Not like I want Her to make my job.

Yeah. This is very interesting. I was wondering, can I just put my hand on keyboard freely, and let my tulpa write. It would be nice to allow Her to have Her own blog or mailbox. Or even let Her write something like story.

I believe FAQ man's at least stated that it's theoretically probable, but that he and Irish didn't want to try and find out, as it's not up their respective alleys. I certainly want to find out, so I really hope my tulpa winds up being up for it.

I admit I'm still a bit skeptical of the possession aspect of tulpae, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't make for a good experiment. Perhaps if more people register and activity begins to pick up, it might be worth starting up a thread on the experiment board for those willing to try it.

I created my tulpa because of reason 2, though reason 3 also really piques my interest. I love creative writing and art, and I could imagine a second opinion being a huge help when it comes to creating something.
