Emergency Possession and the Extent of Body Modification Via Tulpae

Ermergency Possession Is it possible to install a panic mode, where my body senses danger (Someone throws a punch at me or I sense I am about to be attacked) where my tulpa Shin would auto-possess me and i would have higher adrenalin/dopamine/whatever needed production? Obviously after we master possession and stuff.

Extent of Body Modification Via Tulpae now, I'm still a ninth grader so I dot know much about how the body works, but for instance; could Shin change my eye colour? If you have read my progress report you know I love to intimidate people (sadist) and I really want deep, red eyes. Could I have Shinigami delete brown pigment and increase heaps of red pigment to my eyes?

My opinions are all subject to change.

It seems very likely that in a crisis, your tulpa would at the very least try their best to alert you of what's wrong. There is a case where a tulpa reminded their host to get up and move or something, while the host had heatstroke and couldn't really tell right from left... something like that anyway.

Seems likely that they could go as far as possessing you in similar circumstances, though I doubt they'd be any better at using your body than you.

And no, human bodies aren't a series of boolean values to be switched on and off by the brain. The extent to which a tulpa, or a very aware human, could change their body with their mind is tiny, and probably only in a couple ways, if indeed at all. The eyes thing would never work.

Edit: Though, of course, in a mindscape/wonderland, your tulpa can change your illusionary body however they want, as can you.

The above post does not contain facts.

q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.

I know a case of someone who got forcefully possessed by their tulpa. The host in question wasn't in a good state of mind though, "it" was in a state of sadness and borderline depression.

No, a tulpa cannot change your physical appearance in any appreciable way, being a mental construct. Yes, they can possess you if you're in danger of some kind, though consent is required (either beforehand or on a case-by-case basis).

If you ever want to be able to change your eye colour at will, I'd recommend devoting your life to genetic manipulation, that or get bionic eyes.

Case I saw was without consent, in fact, the host DIDN'T want to be possessed, but the tulpa thought it was for the host's own good.

First off, as the others have said; yes, as long as he's given permission to possess you, he would likely do it in times of crisis. However, if I were you, I wouldn't expect him to be some kind of ultimate fighter, while using your body. He may not be any better at using it, than you. So all in all, in a situation like that, it may not really help you.

It's useful that my tulpa is/will be very calm, and level headed. So I'm sure he would be able to do things that I couldn't do properly, on account of my anxiety.

As far as eye-color, or anything of the sort; let's just say, your tulpa really won't be able to do anything with your body, that you can't.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

The body puts limits on itself. I don't recall the exact percent, but you can't actually use that much of your full power. I get the feeling it's around 20%. Your body limits itself because if you were to use 100% of your strength then your muscles would break your bones. This is how average people lift cars and other crazy things like that when they are in danger. Normally a fight wouldn't get you to use that much of your actual strength, though it would go up a little bit. I'm not sure as to the potential of tulpa, but you could try to get them to break the limit during a fight. Or you could do the intelligent thing and try to get them to change your perception of time so everything moves slower, which should be possible. It'll take a long time to be able to do it, and I'm not sure as to the limits, but it should theoretically work.

Or you could just not get into a fight. It's incredibly easy to get out of one, I've done it once in my high school career. The amygdala, the part of your brain that regulates emotions, is incredibly easy to manipulate. If somebody gets angry, and you remain perfectly calm, their amygdala won't know what's going on. It'll get confused, and mimic you because it thinks that that's what it should be doing. Then they get calm too and you walk away. Doesn't work all the time, sure, but it works most of the time.

The body really doesn't "limit" itself in the sense that you put it. You can use force of will and certain mental tricks to push yourself a bit harder, as in having someone spot you while lifting weight to get in an extra rep or two, athletes are usually familiar with the concept, but that isn't how people lift cars in crisis situations. That is caused by your brain producing a flood of adrenaline in extreme and rare situations. This is also not controlled by either your conscious or subconscious mind, it is caused by the fight or flight response which is involuntary, much like breathing and heart rate. I'm not saying it isn't entirely impossible, but I would say the success rate is probably around nil.

And like what has been said before, things like eye color, skin color, and other anatomical factors are purely up to genetics, you can't use mental processes or techniques or even pure force of will to change things like that. But in your wonderland, anything is possible. Either that or color contacts.
