Cable June 21, 2012 Share June 21, 2012 I'm thinking about starting a completely unbiased research project with hopes of using more published material than personal experience. I have a good collection myself, but if anyone would like to help point me toward good sources/ authors or simply put their two cents in, that would be great. I have plenty of time on my hands, so this time instead of punching a guide out in a couple hours and calling it good, I think its time for an accumulated text that covers as much as possible with plenty of sources as confirmation. Slushie June 21, 2012 Share June 21, 2012 So you're talking about creating a universal reference book about tulpas? Well, good luck with that I guess. It won't happen, though. Astral project on my face, brother!

Guest June 21, 2012 Share June 21, 2012 >implying imaginary companions can be external >implying unconscious and subconscious is the same Still, these "sources" can't be confirmed in any way and it would all just be assumed in good faith, which is bullshit if you want to make a proper book about tulpae. At best, you'd just create a guide collection, but there are two things I already have in counter for that: we have a Guides board already, and the best option would be to code a web program that'd ask questions and automatically piece paragraphs of guides together to create the most fitting guide for the individual. Slushie June 21, 2012 Share June 21, 2012 Pretty much what Fede said. Tulpas are still very much unknown. All we know about them we have from individual accounts, which aren't necessarily reliable, and even what we think we know is disagreed on by people. It's impossible to create universal reference material for tulpas because virtually no universally reliable and accepted information exists right now. Something like what you're proposing wouldn't be valuable until we've had years more to study tulpas. Also Fede it's my understanding that in modern psychology "subconscious" is wrapped up into the idea of the unconscious mind. Astral project on my face, brother! Cable June 21, 2012 Author Share June 21, 2012 There is plenty of published material on thoughtforms. My plan is not to pull from this site and the experiences alone.
