Kaz with a K December 19, 2013 Share December 19, 2013 So, I'm really forgetful, and I forced my tulpa, Adryan, for like, 3 months during the summer. I knew school would wreck up my forcing schedule, but I effectively accidentally blocked my tulpa out for a while. He and I are alrights now, like we are speaking to each other and such, but I was wondering if there was a good way to get back on a "diet" for the holidays and further on? Like, not so much starting over again, but a regimen for getting back on track. Sorry I was rushed writing this. LordV December 19, 2013 Share December 19, 2013 One thing I've heard is just to choose a time to force every day (say, 4:00 or something like that), and stick to it, in the hopes that you can form a habit. Also, you might want to do constant passive forcing throughout the day. TulpaCouple December 19, 2013 Share December 19, 2013 Honestly for me, when I got off track, I really just had to jump right back in, otherwise I would tend to procrastinate (ie--"I will force tomorrow for an hour at 4:00!"--look at the clock tomorrow and it's 4:49 "Woops! Well DEFINITELY tomorrow!" etc. etc. etc.), so what I would do is just set a time today and just at least spend a few minutes, just basically getting back into it. Maybe your first session is mostly just getting back into forcing--no expectations or need to get x or y done, just work on getting used to dealing with intrusive thoughts again and learning to force again. Then just keep going. Make it enjoyable, laugh and have fun with the progress. When it's a fun thing it's easier to do.
Kaz with a K December 19, 2013 Author Share December 19, 2013 Awesome. Thanks to both of you, and both sound like good ideas. I do think it would be better to completely immerse myself at first, but then later, like Lord said. It's gonna be a *blast* going back through and dusting off all our old techniques and things we had accomplished :P But hey, as long as the bricks are still there, all we have to do is clean the wall and keep building~ Thanks again Tulpa: Adryan Form: Anthro wolf-ish Stage: *sighs loudly* Age: Looks 17, is actually 1 1/2 “Human beings can always be relied on to assert, with vigor, their god-given right to be stupid” -Dean Koontz “In the end, I worry that my arrogance shall destroy us all” -Brandon Sanderson
Nobillis December 20, 2013 Share December 20, 2013 Make sure to say "Good Morning!" every day. It will cost you like 3 seconds. That's not too much impact on a busy schedule. Please consider supporting Tulpa.info.
Ashmo December 22, 2013 Share December 22, 2013 Have you tried making a forcing journal? Just jot down what you do with your tulpa from day to day. You don't have to write out big entries or anything like that, just keep track of how much attention your giving your tulpa daily and try to maybe up it from time to time. So simple, yet so brilliant :P Thank you~ Have you tried making a forcing journal? Just jot down what you do with your tulpa from day to day. For the first like, 3 months, I think, we kept an every day journal describing anything we did, and it's been very helpful in giving advice and inspiration.
