A bunch of questions before I get strated

So I have some things left unanswered after reading a bunch of guides on creating tulpas and i thought you people may be abke to clarify. So I guess I'll just list em off..

-when I'm narrating/giving traits to my tulpa, should I be saying stuff out loud, or in my head?

-can i aid the visualization process by drawing my tulpa?

-how does the visualization transition into an actual hallucination?

-how can I know if a response is genuine or just me?

-will I have to visualize a lot if I want to see my tulpa in greater detail?

If anybody can help answer these then thanks in advance! Hopefully I'll be able to create a tulpa in time.

-when I'm narrating/giving traits to my tulpa, should I be saying stuff out loud, or in my head?

That's up to you. It doesn't matter.

-can i aid the visualization process by drawing my tulpa?

Yes.

-how does the visualization transition into an actual hallucination?

If you can visualize well and can trick yourself into believing you can actually see what you're visualizing, that's how you can see your tulpa as a hallucination. (If you want to know just how to achieve imposition, though, go read some imposition guides and/or wait for others to answer. Imposition isn't something I've achieved yet.)

-how can I know if a response is genuine or just me?

It can be hard to tell at first, though you'll learn to tell the difference over time. Generally, though, genuine responses feel more "real", while intrusive thoughts tend to feel "fake". Once you do have reliable communication established, if you're ever unsure if a thought came from your tulpa or not, you can ask them.

-will I have to visualize a lot if I want to see my tulpa in greater detail?

Yes.

I come out of hibernation once in a blue moon.

Either or! It makes sense to talk to them in your head if there are others around. But if you -can- talk to them out loud without risk of people asking you questions, it helps a bit. It has to do with brain chemistry. (My sister is a neuro-bio-whatever type person)

-can i aid the visualization process by drawing my tulpa?

Yes! Yes you can. It helps a great number of people to do that. I certainly need a picture of my tulpa Sigma to visualize him better. I -can- already, but I want it to be absolutely perfect.

-how does the visualization transition into an actual hallucination?

With a looooooooot of time and effort. It's an extremely lengthy process that requires various techniques of "experiencing" your tulpa with your physical world senses. There are several guides on this. I can't go into specifics, having not achieved this yet.

-how can I know if a response is genuine or just me?

Always always ALWAYS assume it was your tulpa in the beginning. You'll get to a point where you'll be able to get head pressure or emotional responses, and if you have any doubts at -that- point, you can ask them if it was them. Just focus on them, and wait for them to reply. Either way, they communicated with you, or you bunkered down and communicated with them anyway. There's a lot of doubt in this process. Just do your best to banish it from your mind.

-will I have to visualize a lot if I want to see my tulpa in greater detail?

Of course! It's like any skill. The more you do it, the better you get at it. For some, it takes a very long time. Others can get it in nothing flat. It's an extremely personal process that's different for everyone.

If anybody can help answer these then thanks in advance! Hopefully I'll be able to create a tulpa in time.

Hope I helped!

Thanks a lot! And one quick thing about the imposed tulpa, will I be able to see it clearly as if it's actually there? Or will it be more like during a daydream?

You will be able to see an imposed tulpa clearly with enough practice and effort, or so I've heard.

It's probably worth mentioning if you haven't already seen this in the guides; don't concern yourself with hallucination and imposition yet. These are super-advanced techniques, I would rate them higher in difficulty than possession and switching based on what I've read. When you're starting out focus on basic visualization in your mind and put these higher tulpa concepts out of your mind until you're both ready to try them, otherwise you might get discouraged because you don't feel like you're making adequate progress.
