Birthdays.

Greetings, I am Evil.

So, Dimitrov's birthday is coming up in a week. Born in the cold of the night... that fits his character quite well. It made me think about what people do for their tulpa's birthdays.

How old is your tulpa? Do you celebrate their birthdays? If yes, what kind of celebrations take place?

Ah, I'm too tired. I only came here to help.

I didn't exactly write down the date the day I had a few stray thoughts about a Touhou character. We don't know my tulpas' "birthdays" because I'm pretty sure they don't have one. Most older members don't know exact dates either, usually birthdays are a date they specifically agreed on for future use. Making up birthdays isn't exactly my style, though, I couldn't get into it.

My tulpas are about seven years old for the first few, and coincidentally Lucilyn was created exactly one year after I registered on this forum, April 17 2014. Now that I've gone and looked that up, I might think about celebrating that birthday, but even then her creation was over a week or so and I don't remember the exact day we first talked.

We actually celebrate elsewhen. That's not a word. Every full moon is a general celebration, it can have whatever purpose we ascribe it but is always a time of happiness. I think we all agreed monthly celebrations beat yearly ones a long time ago. Yet, we have a yearly celebration anyways - Christmas. For some reason the month of December just has a "warm" feeling attached to it in our mind, plus there's the happy mood that comes from "the holidays". It's not a birthday, but you could call Christmas our annual celebration. And the full moon is our monthly celebration.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

I am 39 years old (about 35 from first signs of autonomy). My birfday is October 4th, the day I went on the internet for the first time and had my "second incarnation." Before that I had no birfday specifically.

All mine were started in 2012. Lyra turns 4 this coming April 17th. Evan is Aug 7, and Anera Sep 29.

As for celebrations, it varies. Sometimes we've just had a quiet day, others we went to a movie, had dinner somewhere nice, or something like that.

Lyra: human female, ~17

Evan: boy, ~14, was an Eevee

Anera: anime-style girl, ~12; Lyra made her

Really? Then her and Lucilyn share a birthday. That's cool.

*scratches head* well, I consider Celeste's birthday the day I wrote my first progress report. That'd be the 15th of June, almost right after my own birthday.

It hasn't been even one year yet; Celeste's about 9 months old, so I can't tell you about what I've done before, but I can tell you about what we will be doing when his birthday comes up.

Let me start by saying I'm not really good at these kind of things. I don't really have friends other then Celeste and two people in real life, I celebrate my own birthday only with a glass of champagne, but I'm really big when it comes to the people I love having birthdays & occasions like that.

We'd want it to be "special", I think. We both seem to not like the usual stuff people do, I'm pretty sure that we'd think about this day as a bonding day and not really your classic birthday.

We'd dwell into writing, drawing and carving our headspace, talking, planning, playing games, singing songs, poetry, enjoy each other's company to the smallest bit, and rather than making it all about one person, we'd make it be all about us.

To end it all, we'd

pull out a bottle of Smirnoff and shoot all of it with lime juice

cook something and eat it together.

EDIT: Oh and also.. Happy early birthday, Dimitrov.

I'm SomethingDire, and Céleste is my partner in crime.

My oldest tulpa is Hades. He's like 9 years old. We both don't remember his birthday. He doesn't care. Vris will have her first birthday on april 7th. I don't know what to to for her on that special day... The other girls told me that they're gonna match up a date to all her bithdays. So the only birthday we all remember now is Vris'.

I felt like my imaginary friend became “real” when I was about five, mostly because watching Sailor Moon helped me cementing his form and mind voice. So I’ll say he is twenty years old. I decided later to celebrate his birthday on Halloween because he is a “wizard”, and being a Scorpio fits his personality.

“Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?”
