"Defending" your mind?

So, I was thinking over the past few days, is there some way to keep some certain thoughts from entering your mind using a thoughtform?

Say, having something designated like a guardian/warrior to keep those thoughts from even getting close. Not... Not suicidal thoughts, instead ones of uselessness and so on...

I know it's probably a long shot, worth a try though. Just trying to find a way around without using medication (yay, Aspergers...)

Troy: I recall someone bringing up making a servitor for such a purpose months ago, and I believe it worked for them. If you wish to try it, go for it.

Thank you. I did think of a servitor and started reading up about them tonight, I just wasn't too sure how I'd go about such a thing, or what their 'direction/instruction' would be

Well, this might not be the answer you wanna hear, but I don't know, and Esterina doesn't know either, she says.

But what I do know, or rather what I gathered from the last few days throughout the experiences I had with her, is that there does seem to be a sort of emotional "link" between a host and a tulpa, to where emotions can flood the head and heart of the other one.

(Like, when she felt bad, I got hit by that in "waves" of emotions and felt what she felt.)

So I think one COULD maybe use that?

Maybe something like your tulpa sending you positive thoughts and emotions?

This is all just me theorizing here, it's just a guess into the blue ^^

At least - well, when I asked Rina just now to send me happiness / make me happy, it sort of did work a bit.

Like, at least a bit. Not to an extreme extent, but that feeling that you get in your chest and stomach when you're really happy, I felt it a little bit.

So maybe that would be a method for you?

Greets,

AG

Dav: A curious idea. I have more or less a servitor Solaria and I use for efficiently having the brain do tasks, but thought avoidance or suppression isn't one we looked at much.

A great test medium though is get an earworm from an annoying catchy song and see how efficiently you can stop the earworm from replaying in your head.

Al has some experience with preventing access to certain memories. I still know they happened, but he can prevent me from looking at any details about it. So I guess that's something.

I'm IBreakGames, a genuine dude.

We gave up on using different colors for each of us, so there's Al, Ollie, and Eva. We're all rabbits, get over it.
