Biotechnology May 7, 2014 Share May 7, 2014 Are we talking about person/plurals like... 1st person: I 2nd person: You 3rd person: He, she, it, and they ?? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thoughtform#Modern_perspective 'I say 'soul making' Soul as distinguished from an Intelligence- There may be intelligences or sparks of divinity in millions- but they are not souls until they acquire identities, till each one is personality itself' -John Keats, 1819
malesplicer May 7, 2014 Share May 7, 2014 You could really Google this question and should have, First person is viewpoint of one person which is what you are in and viewing the world from your eyes and ears. Often using words like i, me, and we. Second person is when another person say your friend refers to you or talks about you is second person. Often uses words like you and yours. Third person is often most used in writing and is when the narrator speaks to the reader of the characters. Often using words like him, his, hers, he, she, and it. Could describe it better > http://www.quickanddirtytips.com/education/grammar/first-second-and-third-person *There is Also a Fourth person "A variety of the third person sometimes used for indefinite referents, such as one in one shouldn't do that." >http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/fourth_person <<< http://community.tulpa.info/thread-mjolnir >>> Mjolnir Gender: Female Birth/Creation: Febuary 4th 2013 Astora Gender: Female Birth/Creation: April 4th 2014 Nueva Gender: Female Birth/Creation: May 1st 2015
Chupi May 7, 2014 Share May 7, 2014 The most common use of it in this community is referring to viewpoints when visualizing. A first person view puts you inside the body you have in your wonderland. You feel present in that body and "see" from its eyes. Your view changes as you move around. If you play video games, think of any FPS. A third person view is outside that body, like either a fixed camera or one that flies around. Video game example is Super Mario 64. I haven't heard anyone refer to a second person view, but I'm tempted to use the term for when the view moves strictly with you like first person, but isn't from the eyes. More like a camera strapped to your shoulder or floating a foot behind you, always pointing the way you're pointing. Also, please try to use more descriptive thread titles so people have some idea what they're clicking. Linkzelda May 8, 2014 Share May 8, 2014 I haven't heard anyone refer to a second person view, but I'm tempted to use the term for when the view moves strictly with you like first person, but isn't from the eyes. More like a camera strapped to your shoulder or floating a foot behind you, always pointing the way you're pointing. For anyone interested in a video game example, Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6 if over-the-shoulder-point-and-shoot counts as anything for the description Chupi mentioned. June May 12, 2014 Author Share May 12, 2014 Chupi, 3rd person is like seeing you and your tulpa at once..? Or mentally 'imagining' you getting up and walking over?
jean-luc May 12, 2014 Share May 12, 2014 3rd person is like you were a camera that was floating in the air, looking at you doing things. I don't visit as often as I used to. Chupi May 14, 2014 Share May 14, 2014 3rd person is like you were a camera that was floating in the air, looking at you doing things. This is pretty much what I meant. You're still you and still controlling the mindform you usually have, but you're seeing it all from above. Of course since this is generally referring to wonderland stuff, it is mind's eye / imagined. Though I guess the same can apply IRL if you manage to fully dissociate while still controlling the body.
