lucid dreams turning to lucid nightmares

Recommended Posts

As of a few days ago while tulpamancing Red, i guess i had one hell of a lucid dream, and let me tell you.... it scared me... so let me start you off that 1. i'm not able to talk in my dreams, so i can't talk to anyone.. i feel like those silent protagonists in the games. 2. my intentions in dreams is usually to help never to harm. 3. whatever i dream is added to endless (including the douche bag dream people as well) 4. the dream people don't give a crap about me, red or endless, they do whatever the hell they feel like and care little for any consequences.

so the lucid entails as follows:

I guess i was meandering around "Endless city" which is the central "Hub" of all dream and endlessian happenings , while it's a great place to hang out at, the people over there can be ass-clowns, including the greedy fast food businesses (i guess there can be fast food in... a wonderland/realm that you can make?) so they where taking the innocent other creatures from my realm and grinding them up for food, the dream people loved this and spent a lot of money (tokens) on the new food such as "Meat golem burgers" (those...poor things... they are usually the most friendliest creatures in endless) and "shapeshifter pizza!" (they where about to grind up the shape shifting birds for meat and the little shape shifting pigs and other animals but they where too fast) so they decided to go with the meat golems.. since they couldn't fight back. after a while me and red went wandering around a old industrial building looking for neat stuff for alchemy, We heard a few people talking and we saw a group of paranormal hunters on the look out for slender man we found slender man first and i waved to him, he waved back and told me that he was going to have some fun with the paranormal hunters (slender man is a regular in endless, at least in endless he's a nice guy.)

B[/font]eyond that we left the building only to get tied up by some burning.. string like substance.. we couldn't run and the owner of this fast food place said "your the creator huh? well "Creator of Endless....you have our thanks for the use of your golems!" i looked up and was horrified to see my meat golems getting slaughtered like cows on a conveir-belt about to "graduate" from bovine university! i felt tears well up in my eyes as i saw them.. get slaughtered and i couldn't do anything about it.. red told me "don't try to fight them... you'll lose" and i guess i woke up later on burning with rage after seeing the golems get turned into fast food and people eating them and absorbing their shapeshifting powers...

i kinda also had went berserk when i came to i saved all the meat golems as i could while breaking my bonds of that burning thread substance. i think red and i went level 100 on them because half of the dream people in suits where half-alive and beaten into submission. and i usually just fight with my fists or with whatever form red wants to assume in weapon form. i also have elemental magic and sort of like a true creator i have the basics, life creation, resurrection, blood lust, barrier magic and various other. tulpamancers can have those in wonderland and own created realms right?

i also feel immense sadness..with this nightmare... we lost alot of golems.. i was supposed to protect them but... i couldn't it's funny... when i berserked.. i remember crying irl i felt tears fall onto my pillow.. i didn't know what i was going to do... extract revenge... for the fallen innocents? Rage? beat the living dookie out of those vain and evil dream people? i just... raged.

I don't know how to give my response to the wonderland questions you have, but I'll try. There can be potential in a wonderland having similar conditions in your non-lucid and lucid dreams, though I'd imagine the wonderland you would visualize in the waking state would be more at your control. I'd even add on to that you can have control in both waking and dreaming state as well, it's just that for the latter, it's really based on many factors (e.g. willpower, determination, and using symbolic means for having a sense of control).

Though your experience reminds me of someone in an anime who had something kind of like yours:

http://www.tubechop.com/watch/2985521

There's many ways as to why you had that dream, or there could really be no underlying reason at all, and it just happened for the hell of it. But having recalled all sorts of nightmares (lucid and non-lucid), there always seems to be some kind of message behind it, despite whether or not the dreams were nonsensical at times.

One way to look at this dream is your sense of helplessness. Despite being the creator of those dream characters/dream people, you were absolutely helpless in being able to stop their acts. No matter how hard you seem to have tried, all your efforts would be in vain, and your sense of morale and pragmatism with others seemed to be of little interest to those dream characters. It could be a reflection, and maybe a chance for you to develop experiential learning that you probably can’t save everyone, at least in relation to the concept of thought forms (e.g. dream characters, tulpas, egregores).

Think about it, you woke up like you usually do, except you just had intense emotions over what happened, and you couldn’t bear to see what happened. You had lack of control to protect the ones you cared about, and it may be a sign there’s going to be thought forms that will fade away, or maybe some that go on and off sporadically while we desperately cling onto building a subjective value and a sense of meaning in the existence of our tulpas in this reality.

Another interpretation from your dream is that even though you were in a state of helplessness, it could reflect some doubts and struggles you may be denying, or just weren’t aware of that are beyond your capability. Here you have thought forms in your dreams that say whatever they want to say, do what they want to say, with barely any sense of morality and decency for others. I’ve had dreams like that as well, sometimes to the point where the dream character’s existence was impregnable, almost as if to have that attribute to give some kind of insight, or some indirect learning experience.

There’s situations where you kill some without even knowing it, or do it out of a reflex because you felt you were in danger (like any other reflexes to defend yourself). You can’t save everyone, because the burden would probably be too much for you. The nightmare itself could just be a hint that you could expand your paradigm of moral and ethics, at least in relation to the life of dream characters, and maybe the tulpas you engage with in the waking state.

It could just be part of what we may learn eventually the more we dive into the rabbit hole. There’s just that certain dream, or set of dreams that makes us reach our breaking point to where the experience lingers for days, weeks, maybe months, and we can’t help but feel incompetent in doing something about it. I completely empathize with you there, and those feelings do really suck.

Recently, I had a mental visualization with one of my companions, and being able to shift my awareness to how I viewed myself in mind’s eye, and being in an environment, moving around with one of them, and having a small discussion with them. I was amazed of how easy it was for me to feel a certain way, like how I would feel in a dream, and I felt I could engage in that state more, and probably let them take control of real life sensations if I wanted to let them do so.

The reason why I’m mentioning this is that sometimes what you may think is a nightmare could really just be something you’ll need in your life (for learning experiences that is). Not just for the presumed issue of the nightmare at first glance, but what the underlying reasons could be, if any, that you could learn from them. The event was probably created maybe based on your own desires, and other factors as well. Who knows?

But don’t let the nightmare affect how you see wonderlands, or your tulpas too much in a negative way. There’s always a chance for you to make good with your tulpas, and any mental environment you engage with them, just as how you could’ve easily led yourself into a path of rage where you ended up killing everyone out of confusion and sadness. I remember I had a dream similar to yours where I was helpless, but when I saw someone that was injured that was helping me out, all that really mattered was just killing everyone that was involved in hurting them.

You may feel it gives a sense of relief that you did something to save the person from further harm in this circumstance, but what about the other dream characters that I ended up killing? It becomes even more depressing having to kill another dream character, despite of how horrible their actions were. Almost as if you were killing a part of yourself, and that probably hurts more than any other reason you feel would be necessary to resolve something (e.g. avenging for others in your dreams). Maybe that could be why you didn't do much in this event in the dream(s).

1. i'm not able to talk in my dreams, so i can't talk to anyone.. i feel like those silent protagonists in the games.

You should try hard to change that.

It's rather unusual not to be able to talk. Are you not "there" in your dream with your body? Do you have lips?

2. my intentions in dreams is usually to help never to harm.

That's fine, but I don't think it means you have to let everything happen around you.

Maybe you can find a creative way to fight back non-violently? Like, talking to the people and changing their opinion. Giving them flyers, or something. Don't just get angry - get angry and use your anger as a driving force...

Also, like LinkZelda said, nightmares don't come just out of nothing, I believe. If you confront your dream population about it, you may find out what it's about. Ask them questions!

And... talk. Don't think about what you can't do in your dreams - it's your dream!

Erm.. i'm sort of there but i also feel...bound there since it's endless i kinda bound myself there but in dreams i can't really talk.. because of "dream muteness"? i mean i can point say some words and respond to questions but actually talk talk.. no..

As for violent tendencies i.. will try to resolve things peacefully i remember in one dream where i was dead.. i was a zombie.. red was with me and we where in a mausoleum but i still can think and feel and all that other zombies and humans where in there and they where having a great time. it was like.. a fun park of the dead..and living i tried to leave but we had to earn enough tickets to "win back" our life. Red was too busy shaking his kitty money maker on the dance floor. i played a few games and discussed the theory or existance with other game players with the other zombies and people.. i was amazed of their answers.. but i'll try to be more conversive and less wrathful.
