Tulpas effects on hosts intelligence

So, I am about to start the creation of my tulpa, but i have to make sure one thing first:

Since your brain will keep the tulpa existing and possibly all your waketime processing not only yours, but its troughts too, does it affect your intelligence in any way? Logically it must take some resources from your brain.

I myself am soon-to-be Master of science in technology, and in my career I can't take the risk of reducing my reasoning, problem-solving abilities nor my intelligence.

I have already googled this and received some answers, but i want to be sure about this.

The simple answer is no, your tulpa doesn't reduce your intelligence. Such an effect is reported very rarely, if ever. I can't think of any examples myself off the top of my head.

I suppose your logic isn't all that wrong, but if the need arises for difficult thought yourself then your tulpa can stop thinking entirely, consuming no 'resources'.

Since your concern is whether or not the brain can sustain the existence of a tulpa and not affect (negatively) your cognition in general, like waffles stated, there wouldn't be a reducible intelligence occurring. Considering that in your natural sleep, your brain can fabricate all sorts of thought-forms easily and how you can practice becoming aware of your dreams to be immersed with those thought-forms that may have a similar ontological set of factors as tulpas, the brain isn't going to become so affected that you would be deemed as incompetent.

Obviously, there's going to be concerns on how much tulpas would "consume" resources, though that would also question whether or not other unconscious processes (e.g. somatic & psychosomatic) that probably require more "brainpower" compared to sustaining tulpas.
