what does a tulpa feel like?

I'm very sorry if this has been asked somewhere, but I've looked and looked and can't seem to find anything.

I know I shouldn't worry so early on, but I guess I can't help it.  I started making my tulpa yesterday, and I have no doubt she's in there just waiting for me to hear her.  But for whatever reason, I feel like I'm doing something wrong.

People talk about having felt things like tingles or head pressures on their first day of forcing, and I understand that time is different for everyone during tulpa creation.  But the thing is, I'm feeling something, its just that they're not headaches or anything like that, and I'm not sure whether to assume it's from my tulpa.  Its like this feeling in my chest, not unlike giddiness or adrenaline.  The only way I can describe it is like a tightness, or like my chest and stomach is being filled with warm air, if that makes sense.  It isn't painful, though.  Is it really just my being excited, or is it my tulpa?  If you can describe a few feelings you had, I would love to read them.

Also, one more question, but what did you all do when you first started forcing?  I can't ever seem to force for very long (not because of lack of focus, but because I'll feel like I've done all I can for the session and then realize it was only twenty minutes long), and I feel like something just isn't right.  I feel like I'm not making any special connection, or that I'm really making any progress.  It just seems too easy almost, compared to how tasking of a job most people say it is.

Thanks so much.

Yes, that question feels familiar.

Tulpamancy is art, not science. There are better ways and worse ways, but no right ways and no wrong ways. Except for some obvious stuff. Variety of experience means whatever you are experiencing, a lot of other tulpamancers have also experienced.

Congratulations on possibly experiencing emotional bleed and or getting excited about tulpamancy. I can't tell you which, though.

You can fill the remaining time with mindless conversation. Literally any topic including random trivia about astrophysics, or homework. Or even mindless random words.

It's not tasking to force. The hard part is doing it every day. Which you have to do until your tulpa gets stable. A point which is hard to predict.

Thank you very much.  I know you probably get asked silly stuff like this all the time but I really appreciate you taking the time to answer.  Just reading this makes me feel a lot more confident.  I'm excited for my tulpa and I to grow and learn together (although I'll probably have tons more questions to bother people with later on)

It's not a bother!

If it doesn't take you that long to force, then congrats, it doesn't take that long to force! It may not seem like you're making progress, or that you're not making as much progress as you should at this point, but that's fine. Nothing spectacular should happen this early. The sentience part of tulpamancy often happens spontaneously, but that obviously won't happen without some work!

Also, you might want to communicate with your tulpaware™️ to see if it came from them. Ask your tulpaware™️yes or no questions and to respond using the feeling you described. That might help identify either or.

Hope it helps

I'm not going to listen to you guys since you are all probably just talking to yourself and don't really have a tulpa like me.

Thank you so much <3

I'll try my best to communicate with her!  That's a really good idea, I never even thought to try to communicate with her that way.  I'll try it out right way!
