Girl Subforum

In my eyes having a sub forum for the girls to post sort of implies that the rest of the forum is primarily for men(much like how an artist gallery magazine might 'dedicate'/confine female artists to a single article once a month rather than showing them with everything else)

If you want to talk girl things you could also make a large general thread in off topic to talk about whatever you like.

Moon shooter, you could tone down that last sentence in your post.

You sort of just agreed with everyone in the thread. The thing is, we're trying to NOT make this a sexist community. No one is special because everyone is special. You're welcome to make whatever thread you like in the off topic board, but having a specific board for females or males or anything in between is absolutely ridiculous.

You have to assume everything you post on a forum (and on the internet in a more general way) are public, no matter what kind of flyer you put on it. Therefore, it's not really a privacy issue.
My question is : is there a need for that kind of subforum ? I'm not an expert about lady issues and that kind of stuff, but what would you discuss about on forum about something as specific as tulpas ? I'm sure there's plenty of other websites for that purpose.

And Moon Shooter, easy on her. Spoilering those words does not make them less insulting.

I do agree with you but I find it hard to speak about tolerance and learning from each other when you end your posts with insults.

Then again, let's not whiteknight over it, there's no incident.

True, true. I think she gets the idea at this point. It's not happening.

Well, the idea has been mooted that there could be specialist boards for subscribers who want a private board, similar to the boards that Dreamviews have for those who donate at least a minimum amount each month. Then if someone wants to subscribe and pay for a "girls only" board, let them. (Who cares what a board is for, if it is supporting the site by subscription?)

Note, the Dreamviews private boards are viewable only to registered members.
Please consider supporting Tulpa.info.

As a girl I must say I don't get what the point of a girls only subforum would be? What would go there that you can't talk about on the rest of the site? It seems entirely pointless to me.
Tulpamancer since May 2013. Lurks a lot... Cool

...she's thirteen. If she paid... fuck, if anyone paid for a girls only forum in the community we have, I would eat my own head AND hat sir! (or madame)

In that order.

Talk about your nails. And how boys have cooties. Or how Jimmeny Cricket is way hotter than Justin Bieber and Kanye West combined.

So much anger in here hahaha. If people keep being nasty to each other this thread will be locked up.

Yeah, don't really think the tulpa forum needs a place for women only... There are plenty of forums out there on the internet that are for women only. I hope you can find one that you enjoy talking on!

Also depends what you mean with girl only anyways. Technically these forums have more females than males browsing them considering that most hosts are males and make female tuppers. Often multiple ones at that, so...

Male dominated community, but it's female dominated if you take out the Tulpa hosts and keep the Tulpas themselves.
