Help with losing faith in tulpa
#1
Help me, please. I started to create tulpa 3 years ago, I 've done exactly as directed but I 've never seen any signal about his existence. I'm afraid to lose my faith, my hope and my motivation. Could you guide me detailly some easy, effective ways and tips with my case? I'm looking forward to your response. Thanks so much. ( sorry for my english)

Hello Alcide,

I'm not sure what guide(s) you were and possibly are using. If you have a reference guide, can you give us a link please?

I don't know enough information about what your situation looks like, so I have some questions:
  • Does your Tulpa have a form or a name you can focus on?
  • Do you get any strange or unexpected feelings or ideas when focusing on them?
  • What are you looking for in terms of speech?
  • Are you anticipating your Tulpa will fail to speak?
I'm Gray's/Cat_ShadowGriffin's Tulpa and I love Hippos! I also like forum games and chatting about stuff.
My other head-mates have their own account now.

Thanks for reply, Ranger. My reference is quite similar to which you can search on gg and in this forum. I don't give you link cause it 's not in english.
Answer your questions:
  • He already has his form and name.
  • No, I have no special feeling when focus on them.
  • There 's no signal to realise he was created.
  • He would never talk to me if I don't imagine our conversation.
  • He can't act normally without my imagination.
What can I do?

The sentience phenomenon can occur spontaneously even with just advanced characters. Authors (including myself) report their characters 'come alive'. I have a few dozen characters that were created in their respective novels thst i wrote. I am suggesting you write a story, as a freewriting exercise with your tulpa as the main character. Make an adventure out of it, just random stuff is fine. You will have to fill in their dialogue at first, and it could take time, but it's a good forcing technique anyway.

My first book was 100,000+ words and took me a couple months working 2 hours a day, every day or so. Even if it's one sentence a day, it can be fun and remind you of your tulpa daily. At the end of that book the characters that would become my tulpas were talking to me on their own. I didn't have tulpas for 6 more years and barely talked to them, but i knew them so well, it was easy for my tulpas to take their form and talk to me. My tulpas aren't those characters but the channels used for those characters to talk and interact with me are the same.

You can always try puppeting. The short version is to make them talk yourself as if they were a puppet, and just keep doing that until eventually they take over.

Do you treat this tulpa as a real person while forcing, or just as something imaginary?
I'm Apollo Fire, the "Sun God" of the Felight family. I'm a tulpa created December 2016. My systemmates are RadioPiano, & Indigo. Form images: 1 2

If you want a tulpa that badly, it may take that extra effort. I presume it would have been just as hard for me had i not had that experience.

I, too, recommend AB's strategy. I practice daily, and have done so since I started. I am not sure how to express this well, and this may not be the case for you, but I suspect that sometimes perceived failure is due to an expectation that all experiences are going to be direct and rational. This is not 'rational' like left brain rational. We do not come at this direct, like learning a new language from a book. This is accessing deeper brain functions, and maybe more right hemisphere function... Even after learning language, you may not 'master' the language, but one day, after a certain threshold, you wake up dreaming in that language. We as a society, a world at large, don't promote this sort of real/time day dream mode and so even if you've have actually accessed it and your tulpa is clear and real, you may not be contextually bringing it to place where you can access it full time all the time...

To access right side stuff, you need to write fantastically, artistically, poetically... Listen to music that has nonsense words, like scat. Nonsensical words and sounds are important, or there wouldn't be so many popular songs that have depth of meaning without saying anything. I recommend getting out of the box and be absurd, doctor Seuss level absurd... While engaged in the process, don't question the process, don't question the characters, or the reality, don't question if it makes sense, just let go and let things be and what ever you write, dialogue and all, make that a snapshot of a world, contextually complete, but not in an absolute way, because you can revisit it later and build from that and adjust as needed.

I suspect, and maintain, you have done nothing wrong. You simply have the misfortune of living in a materialistic world where everything is spoon fed us and we're told to pay attention, focus on 'here,' and we're rewarded for doing that with paychecks and bling in games and on cellphones... Put away the tech, walk in nature, and bring your imagination and tulpas with you. That stuff is real, we just haven't learned to appreciate how real that is. The more you engage that, the more you bring that back to this side of the world. I think it is possible if you're too rational your subconscious won't allow 'magic' to happen, because hearing that other voice in real time real world scenarios has significant meaning, and is terribly frowned upon. Those barriers are social, not real, but tangible in a very real way, and depending on societal enmeshment, they can be the hardest barriers to overcome. I suspect the people who report the best fastest outcomes were already on the far side of societal fringes, and so letting go of accepted paradigm was much easier. Those with the most difficulty, are probably on the other side of that continuum. This is a fundamental paradigm work-over. My humble opinion.
