Here Goes Nothing

So... I'm very new to this whole Tulpa thing. I've decided to make one. I've actually already started. Her name is Lulu, and she is a silver-and-white furred fox. She usually takes on a human form, however, with fox ears and a tail. She is very shy, but loyal to those she is close to (Just me, for now.). She is a reader and highly intellectual. That's all that I have for her so far... I've been imagining her with me every chance I get. I probably need some general advice. Also, just a question: Is it a good idea to make a Tulpa the opposite gender of what you are? I haven't seen many like that...

Haven't seen many like that? That's almost everybody...[/align]

I don't see why it would inherently be a good or bad idea, it depends on how the host treats the tulpa.

Most hosts create their tulpas with the opposite gender in mind (here's one of the polls on it) and very few issues ever arise from that. Just do whatever you're comfortable with.

  • 2 weeks later...

So I have some great news to share! In the past couple of weeks, I've been parroting Lulu whenever possible. However, for the last four or five days, I've started to hear full sentences from her! I used to feel... I don't really know how to explain it. I'd get the general idea of what she wanted to say, but no exact words. But now, it seems she's been coming up with the full sentences on her own, and it's quite incredible! She's taken an interest in music and food, and has been chatting online with one of my friends. Lemme see if she has anything she wants to say right now...

So it doesn't seem she's very talkative at the moment. Thank you all for your support, and I'll keep you posted on how she's doing!
