Targaryen May 25, 2012 Share May 25, 2012 Hello everyone ~ So, I'm assuming most of you who have already started creating a tulpa have some mental image of what he/she/it looks like. But, how clear is this image in your head, as of now? Eventually we all hope to see our tulpas imposed into reality with every detail visible, right? I'm curious as to what your visualization process/progress has been. Tell me about it. As for me, I'm an "artistic" individual who draws a lot and therefore, I feel I have to draw every inch of my tulpa from every possible angle to get a clear enough mental picture. Is this necessary or will things gradually develop? Finally, if anyone gives two shits, I might make a blog about my creation process and put up my sketches, notes, logs and stuffs (since I have 3 months to kill :)). Let me know if you'd be interested. Anyways, happy Tulpaforcing my friends! Status: ~210 minutes, early personality
G|d30n May 25, 2012 Share May 25, 2012 I think a few members already have blogs about their progress, so that wouldn't be an unwelcome thing. As per drawing, I know Irish's guide actually recommends that and I'm writing things down as they come to be during forcing so I don't think drawing is a bad idea at all. Opinions differ about how early you should move into visualization so whatever works for you. I know some people are doing the form and the personality together and letting them develop fluidly. I'm personally spending a lot of time on personality and then plan to spend about as long at visualization and might try my hand at drawing then. Progess on my tulpa, Lauren. Wireless May 25, 2012 Share May 25, 2012 I'm always interested in new blogs, so you're welcome. As for the image, I made some drawings of my tulpa, back when I was still about to start, to help me with the angles and stuff. They proved useful the first days. After hours and hours of visualization, and a good share of deviation, I can watch every detail of hers in seconds. It's a very detailed image in 2D (actually it's 3D, but wherever I'm seeing her from, I just see a cartoon silhouette. Doesn't mean she has no depth), and if I try to focus more, I kind of get exhausted quickly. Without looking at any specific part, I can render all the details (still takes me some seconds) in my mind. So yeah, I'll be working on it some days, but I'm pretty happy with the result so far. http://wirelesslog.tumblr.com/ - My tulpa blog, updates regularly. Ned Bigby May 25, 2012 Share May 25, 2012 Hm, why not? I am content with just seeing it in my mind's eye.
Guest May 25, 2012 Share May 25, 2012 Imposing the tulpa is optional, but I think plenty of people will do it.
G|d30n May 25, 2012 Share May 25, 2012 I think imposing is an end goal of many if not most, but not everyone will. Some even go with formless tulpae as well. I'm probably going to try for imposing when it gets to that point, however. By the way Targaryen, love your name. ASoIaF is great. Progess on my tulpa, Lauren. Lauren's survey and stylometric test. glitchthe3rd May 25, 2012 Share May 25, 2012 I can see and touch her in my wonderland, as if she were real. In the physical world her form is pretty well-defined, but she passes through stuff like a ghost. Targaryen May 25, 2012 Author Share May 25, 2012 By the way Targaryen, love your name. ASoIaF is great. Thanks :D Imposing does seem pretty cool though. I'm definitely going for that. Status: ~210 minutes, early personality
