Guest Anonymous August 22, 2012 Share August 22, 2012 Do you think God (or whoever you believe in) frowns upon you? Do you think of God as a tulpa in some ways? I know tulpatalk was a catholic, but he never discussed it much.
Phi August 22, 2012 Share August 22, 2012 As an apatheist, I don't care what he thinks about me having a tulpa.
Guest August 22, 2012 Share August 22, 2012 Hell yeah, Pinkie is God to me. When I say "holy shit", I'm actually referring to her cupcakes; "shit" is a Fedistian religious term for treats.
Semi-Nomadic August 22, 2012 Share August 22, 2012 I kind of have a whole essay written on the topic, but it reads like something written on drugs while in the middle of religious ecstasy. So for now let's just say that tulpae very much fit in, and their very existence proves that the world is even more awesome than we all thought. Sock August 22, 2012 Share August 22, 2012 So for now let's just say that tulpae very much fit in, and their very existence proves that the world is even more awesome than we all thought. This, this, a THOUSAND time THIS! It's one of those super neat phenomenon that you just don't see usually, without it turning out to be fake. It was way too cool for me to pass up on. QB2 August 22, 2012 Share August 22, 2012 I'm not religious. It's interesting that tulpas are basically made out of faith, though. That probably explains the whole god thing, too - low-level god tulpas for all deep believers, guiding their hosts based on how their host thinks god should act. The above post does not contain facts. q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.
glitchthe3rd August 22, 2012 Share August 22, 2012 I subscribe to Nietzchean theory, which means that I believe that all reality is simply a manifestation of will. God (or gods) is/are fed and sustained by the wills of many, while tulpae are fed and sustained by the will of one. It could even be argued that this explains why the Earth continues to exist, which is because it is reinforced and perpetuated by what we perceive to be real, such as the ground beneath your feet or any number of other physical objects. Semi-Nomadic August 22, 2012 Share August 22, 2012 Do you think God (or whoever you believe in) frowns upon you? Why would He? Tulpaforcing is creating life. He likes life. There's more to it than that but you'll have to wait until I figure out how to compose all my theories into a blog post without making them sound dumb. In a nutshell, Tolkien was right.
