.....or anyone who's had moderate success at least. I'm wanting to start trying to impose Toby and I've been looking through guides but I was wanting a more personal opinion.

For those who have had some moderate success or even those who have done it. Where did you start? Im looking at the baby steps here and I'm wanting to do this one step at a time.

So we're did you start? What helped you to achieve your first milestone? What, in your opinion is the easiest sense to impose on?

I have this notion that starting with audio imposition is Probobly the easiest, but I could be wrong.

I want to add that I can see Toby PERFECTLY in my minds eye. For instance as I type this he is sitting comfortably on the edge of my couch picking the crap out of his fingernails while he impatiently waits for me to finish what I'm doing so we can go to bed LOL. I can see the light bouncing off of his face from the lamp that's next to him. I can see his chest rising and falling as he breaths and his hair moving as his head does. I can feel him in the room with me, if I concentration I can faintly smell him and I can hear every little sound he makes. Hell I can even hear the small stuff like him clearing his throat at random times and while I was making pancakes this morning he sneezed.... that kind of scared me haha.

Basically I want to take that from my minds eye into the real world and I don't know where to start. The guides are all very good but with so much information to take in it's hard to find a starting point you know.

Kevin says "Well, with Nobillis I had trouble trying to visualize her out in the world. However, in her house (in my mind) she was quite clear. So I tried imposing the house over the world. First, the window with the sunlight streaming in. Then the ornate antique writing desk with its papers and drawings strewn haphazardly. And finally, the cheeky pony sitting the chair at the desk, grinning hugely and being very cheeky indeed waving at me. I had to say, 'stop spinning round in the chair - it's distracting'.

I don't know if that helps, but that's how I did it."

How long did it take you to be able to visualize that well? I can barely visualize anything.

I never thought of trying to impose part of the wonderland onto the physical world, but that makes a lot of sense

I took your advice Kevin and it kind of worked. I'm gonna keep trying it. I know I'm trying to many things at once but when he talks I am trying to drive my ears to hear it and I'm making headway there.

Tonight I managed to see him walking next to me while I was walking home and I even caught a glimpse of him dancing like a jack hole in my Livingroom lol only for a minute but it was something.

I'm gonna keep at it. I get the feeling were making progress here :)

Auditory imposition isn't something that gets brought up as much, so there aren't many guides on that. Please let me know if you make any progress with that, as I'd rather achieve that vs visual imposition.

Okay. The best way I can describe what I'm doing is whenever Toby talks I try to "force" me ears to hear it...ill deffinitly let you know how it goes

For me, since I'm working with a voice model, I play a small sample of an MP3, and then Fench says something and I try to hear it in the same voice.

!!!! One thing I forgot!! Toby has managed a few times to sing along with my music. That is an area where it works pretty well.

Amber, Sarah has done that too. That's the only time I feel like I'm close to really hearing her, if that makes sense
