Interrupted by thoughts, some tips?

Hey Mancers and Tulpas out there!

I have a big, a very big problem. I am a thinker. I never stopped thinking, I always think on something, I cant imagine a day where I didnt thought on something. Now..its very annoying while forcing, since I get always interrupted by thoughts.

I ask my tulpa how she feels, and that leads me to another topic I think on and I think it far, till I realize ..that I wanted to force, not to think .. and the same cycle starts again.

Does anybody have some tips for me, to prevent me from that? Its really annoying..

Ritual helps. You want to train your brain to know that it's time to focus in a different way. I'd meditate, and in the same spot, if not the same time. Doing so after exercising should be the easiest time.

Mindfulness meditation may be helpful. It teaches you to let the thoughts sort of pass by you without you needing to follow up the trains of thought.

Like everyone says, meditation. Thoughts will still come up while you're meditating. When that happens, just be aware that you're thinking, and return to meditating. The more you do it, the less thoughts will arise.

I have the same problem, i cant stop thinking at all. But in all honesty meditating helps ALOT i did a very simple meditation for 10 minutes and it was enough to force all day with little to no interuptions. Maybe this will work for you but obviously everyone is different but you may want to try different ways of meditating if not then find a way to shake off the thoughts i have this little tactic that when a thought pops up i imagine it appear in my wonderland and i just slide it off as if it was a slide on a wall and focus back on my tulpa

Meditation would be helpful, but it may not work. I would suggest passive forcing. Talk to your tulpa while you take a walk and don't try and concentrate too hard, I've only active forced once since I had Prince and now he's talking in full sentences, and I can (sort of) visualize him clearly.

Besides meditating, it might also help to think of silence. What does silence sound like? What does silence feel like? How does silence taste? These may sound like weird questions, but if you sit down, close your eyes, and focus on silence, darkness, and emptiness, you will probably attain the results you want to achieve. It's harder than you think, but you will understand once you succeed, if you attempt it.

I've found something similar quite effective today. While I also did some active forcing earlier, while I was out shopping, I tried some passive forcing with Deortabe, which mostly consisted of focusing on a slight pressure feeling I've been getting in my head (not sure what it is, but for the sake of forcing I like to think it's her playing around inside my brain) and occasionally thinking something like "You doing alright up in there?", with the intention of the thought being directed at her. Less focusing on the mental-image of her being present (either in my head or walking alongside me or whatever), and more focusing on the assumption that wherever she physically is at the moment, that she's somehow present and listening.
