Kaosu and Hakkyou's Thread

So yeah, thread... things... something... gah, I don't know what to say!

Hakkyou: Idiot, you shouldn't start something if you don't know that! Oy... Anyway, I'm Hakkyou, this guy's Tupla. Hi, I guess...

Oh, right, I should probably describe her a little... I inadvertently made Hakkyou four or so years ago. At first, due to the video that prompted her to be made, she looked like a black haired Miku Hatsune wearing a dress, but she got tired of that look eventually and now looks like a 5'5 tall girl with short green hair and black shirt and pants, no shoes.

The reason I never brought her up on these forums then is because I only discovered them a week or so ago. I have other Tuplas as well, but Hakkyou's the only one interested in this, so... here we are.

no shoes.

Excellent choice.

Also, it is spelled "tulpas", not "tuplas".

At any rate, welcome to the forums.

Thanks for the spelling lesson, we'll try to spell it right in the future.

Hakkyou: Honestly, not sure what we'll be saying here anyway... just felt like I had to say something.

I was not trying to inform you of how to spell your own name.

That would be silly.

Oh.

Now that I know that, it changes my perception of your post entirely.

My apologies.

Okay, now I will really stop spamming your PR

Let's hear about how you made your tulpa, I guess. Methods you used and all that. Just something to post, I guess.

Ahh, good idea! Well, like I said, Hakkyou came about by accident, really, nor did I know what a tulpa was or the methods involved, so forgive me if I can't say it in any technical terms. I'll just say what we both remember of it. When I was 14, six years ago, I had this habit of mentally finding what I was scared of, forming the image of it in my mind... and blowing it up.

It was very cathartic, but required me to really focus on what I was afraid of. The first time I did it resulted in a bizarre slug like being that seemed to be a cross between SHODAN(her face, at any rate), tentacles, and darkness in general. Blowing it up though seemed to cure my fear of all three, or at least let me move past it.

The second time was late at night as I was trying to sleep, after watching a especially scary Vocaloid video, "Wide Knowledge of the Late, Madness". Looking back it really doesn't seem so bad, and I've seen worse since, but then it was terrifying.

I tried to visualize all my fear over it in one spot in my mind, thinking once I did that I could sleep. Since it was a song of Miku's, the creation looked a lot like her, but with somewhat darker hair and wearing a white patient's dress like in the video, and simply repeated "Watashi" over and over, again, like the video.

But unlike the last monster, this one seemed different, and not just because she was humanoid, or spoke, if repeating something over and over could be called speaking. It was really my inability to kill her. Injure, yes, blow off one arm(which regenerated) yes, but not kill.

Taking this as a sort of sign, I told her to stop fighting, and she listened, actually asking why we weren't fighting. Once I explained that we really didn't have a reason to, I basically invited her to stick around, conjuring up a bed for her in my little wonderland, and that was that.
