Lord Tourettes 'n' Me

Lord Tourettes

Recommended Posts

Hello, everyone! I've decided to start a progress report for my tulpa, Lord Tourettes. We have been forcing since June 2 (my 16th birthday!). We haven't had too much progress, but hopefully we will soon.

In case you were wondering, Lord Tourettes is a green stick figure with a hat from a YouTube series called "Dick Figures." I've decided to base my tulpa off of him because I admire the way he's always happy, optimistic, and whimsical. The way the character is portrayed in that show makes him seem like such an enjoyable person for me to be around, since I'm happy-go-lucky myself. As shown by his name, this character has Tourette's syndrome, but I will not be making my tulpa have Tourette's for obvious reasons. I'm still keeping the name Lord Tourettes anyway, and he can change it later on if he wants to.

The traits I'm currently forcing to my tulpa are:

Whimsical

Happy

Content

Optimistic

Caring

Friendly

Understanding

Forgiving

Trustworthy

Compassionate

Tenderhearted

Sensitive

Gentle

Effeminate

Energetic

Adventurous

Mischievous

Silly

Playful

Curious

Quirky

Straight

Affectionate

Attached

Cuddly

As for his interests and details, here is what we're aiming at:

Loves the little things

Laughs easily

Loves to laugh

Loves cute stuff

Loves life

Loves springtime

Loves Christmas

Is a Christian

Loves all living things

Loves instruments

Loves classical

Loves the woodland

Loves nature in general

So yeah, that's what we're working on so far. If he deviates, that's perfectly fine with me. That's just our starting traits and interests.

My goal is to force at least an hour a day.

I'll try to update this daily, but there is no guarantee that I will. Happy forcing, everyone!

Day 20

Okay, well so much for updating "everyday"! I also have a tulpa blog on Tumblr called its-tulpa-time, so I guess doing two separate progress reports wasn't exactly the best idea. BUT, I do have a few progress thingies with Lord Tourettes.

1. He changed our wonderland a little. I remember telling him that if he wants to add some things, he can. Well, he did! He added a fountain in one of the meadows, made the grass greener, changed the big wooden house into a cute little cottage, scattered more wild flowers and mushrooms, made the creek wider, put the tree we usually sit against on a hill, and added a trail into the forest with a pond + waterfall. In short, I REALLY REALLY ADMIRE HIS TASTES. It is very fitting, everything is. It's all woodsy and whimsical, the exact kind of traits and interests I was going for. So I'm very happy for that!

2. I'm getting better at receiving his thoughts, I think. I tried doing a question and answer thing with him, and as far as I can tell I didn't think up the thoughts on my own. They just came to me. Here are the results:

Favorite color: Yellow

Favorite animal: Peacock

Favorite trait he has: Loving (this made me aww)

Favorite shape: Octogon

Favorite feature in wonderland: Fountain

What his dream job is: Room inspector (umm what? I didn't even know it was a thing until I looked it up .0.)

Favorite thing to do: Watch TV

Least favorite thing to do: Sit around and do nothing

So again! Not sure if it's his thoughts or mine, but as a tulpamancer should, I'm going to assume it was him. A lot of the responses actually sorta fitted him in a way.

3. His form deviated. And deviated for the better, I must say! It was a small change, but he gave himself some hands. Before, he just had little stubs for hands, like a stick figure normally does. But he has hands now, 3 fingers and a thumb on each. They look kinda like Mickey Mouse hands except they're not in glove form. I really admire them and it's hard to visualize him any other way now.

4. HIS FIRST AUDIBLE SOUND. Now, I'm not EXACTLY for sure on this one, but here is what happened. I was laying down in bed doing some visualizing. I started to slowly drift off until I heard an audible "Psst!" I was beyond shocked. I asked, "Lord Tourettes? Is that you?" But got no other response. So my question for this one is, do you think this was all because I was half asleep, or do you think it was really him?

So yeah, that about sums it up for today. Happy forcing, everyone!

I'm a beginner when it comes to tulpas but here is my 2 cents.. There is a state when you are just falling asleep called the Hypnogic stage.. It's possible to have hallucinations during this stage typically visual or audible. I believe it's highly possible your Tulps could have taken advantage of that situation to speak with you. But as I said I'm a Beginner to Tulpamancy.

Don't believe the things I say just because I tell you.. Test these things and prove them to yourselves so that you know them to be true. ~The Buddha
