salemnox January 10, 2016 Share January 10, 2016 Here is my progress report for the creation of my human tulpa, Jesse. We're only in the early stages, but I'm excited to get started! Without further ado, I'll start with day one. Day 1 - 10/01/16 Started working on Jesse's personality. I have listed 35 traits, and have started to type up in greater detail how these manifest in his personality. Once I'm done with each trait, I address Jesse directly and explain the trait to him, using language like 'you are X, this makes you Z', etc. So far I've reached trait #8. I've been chatting to Jesse about nothing in particular all day. I found myself explaining my bus timetable to him, which I'm sure he found fascinating (not). Lacquer January 11, 2016 Share January 11, 2016 Please don't count your hours. There are too many reasons why it is a bad idea to have an hour count for me to list them right now, so just trust me on this (or search around for reasons why). Vos January 11, 2016 Share January 11, 2016 As to not derail the thread too much, I'll just add that hour counts are fine for logging purposes as long as you don't compare it to others' progress or expect to achieve certain things after the 20hr mark, 50hr mark, etc. -- we understand that doing this is detrimental to tulpa creation since everyone goes at their own pace. salemnox January 11, 2016 Author Share January 11, 2016 Yep, it's just for logging purposes so I know roughly how much time I've spent on what. Thanks though!
salemnox January 11, 2016 Author Share January 11, 2016 Day Two – 11/01/16 I’ve been feeling radiations of joy all day, which I’m almost certain are coming from Jesse. He has such a happy energy today, which is really nice and refreshing. I have discovered Jess seems to adore classic rock. On the bus journey home from work I got the sense he was less than impressed with my whiny indie music, so just as an experiment I put on Carry on my Wayward Son by Kansas on, and instantly felt a transformation in his energy, he was practically vibrating with excitement. Peace of Mind by Boston was also a hit. Guess he’s an old music lover. Continued working on and writing up his personality traits, I’ve reached trait #16. I’m still talking them through to Jesse after each one. He feels somewhat more…whole, now? More himself? It’s hard to describe.
