me and jack's development thus far~

So, I am very new to the whole tulpa thing, and decided to create one a couple of days ago. I'm actually really surprised with just how fast he's developing. I'm not 100% sure if it's just me parroting or not, but I have heard his voice when I talk to him.

(side note: my profile picture is almost a perfect replica of what he looks like. however, he sometimes switches between a human guy and a cat, so that's only one of his forms. I see him as a cat in the physical world more often however, and human more in the wonderland. odd, but interesting)

I myself have been becoming more and more proficient with visualizing him and immersing myself in the wonderland. I've been working mostly on visualizing his human form, but I think I might just give him a face and body build and type then let Jack choose from there once he becomes fully sentient.

Overall, both me and Jack are developing very quickly and I'm really happy about it :3. Longest I've forced in the wonderland was 15 minutes.

A few questions, is it normal for a tulpa to have two forms they switch between depending on whether it's the wonderland or physical world?? Also, roughly how long does it take to be able to hear and see them without having to worry about parroting or puppeting too much? (I've read some people take a few weeks or even days but others take months or years and I got really mixed messages and am curious) And, if anyone could give any extra tips, that would be wonderful.

I've only heard of this happening a few times, but I guess it makes sense when you consider how easy it is to visualize something as small as a cat with your eyes open compared to something more complex like a human. If you're active forcing, you're going to have an easier time focusing on the finer details when you don't have as many distractions. It doesn't matter if it's normal. Or maybe it's just personal preference, and in that case you can just ask your tulpa about it when you're able to.

It's been said many times on the forums that the process is different for each individual. Some people see results within weeks and some have gone a year or more without the slightest hint of a response. And the thing is, not everyone worries about parroting and puppeting - even if you're not sure if a "response" is coming from your tulpa, you can still treat it as if it is.

That's not normal except for older tulpas. Younger tulpas usually either stick to one form or jump chaotically until they get a handle on themselves.

Hear them and see them without parroting and puppeting? Mindset. You transition from the one mode of interaction to the other slowly over time. There are things you can do to speed up the process, like essence tagging your thoughts to make them easier to separate, and thinking exercises.

How much you worry during the process will depend on the mindset you choose.

Hi! And thanks for all the responses, the community is super helpful on here. (not gonna lie, when I first heard about tulpas I thought it was fake until I read more about it)

And I don't know why he switches so much either. Maybe it's just the way I visualize him??
