Cryogenic Sleep?

Ok, so last night was just a normal night as usual. Except for one thing. I think I created an accidental tulpa. It started when I heard a voice that wasn't Rozi or Joey in my head. I little girl's voice saying "Wait up". I quickly checked with Rozi to check if it wasn't him (he frequently changes voices to mess with me. He declined saying he didn't. Well then I knew there was someone else here. When I went to bed I decided to talk to her more, knowing that you leave a tulpa alone it might die (become reabsorbed) I thought of a form to give her, a flash of the pokemon Manaphy went through my head and she instantly took it. I put her to bed on a beanbag in the lounge of my wonderland (as it was late and I didn't want to try making her a room then) She tackled the bag donning a sleeping cap, which I found quite adorable.

Anyway to the problem. When I discovered Rozi, I was also looking into other thoughtforms. He told me that I'm already a nut as it is and I should probably wait till at least my birthday (not until July) to create a tulpa or soul bond. Yeah, I have listening issues. I was thinking about telling Mom about Joey already, and she already knows about Rozi, but what if I tell her I have two thoughtforms in my head. She will probably send me straight to the funny farm (I'm being paranoid but the apple doesn't fall far from the tree) I hate lying to my Mom and I really don't like the idea of destroying a conscious being (as others here have said they though they were still parroting and puppeting and just left their tulpas alone.) And I am getting a headache just trying to visualize everyone right now. So my idea is this - Cryogenic freezing. What I would do would be make a special room with a pod to "freeze" her thoughtform. Knowing if she gets neglected she will dissapear, I would visit the pod daily to acknowledge her existence, but not to interact.

Tl;Dr version : Accidentally created a tulpa last night, don't want to destroy her. But I said I would wait to have more voices in my head. Would it be possible to cryogenic freeze tulpas? I would check on her everyday to make sure she didn't dissapear.

Would this be enough or am I screwed over? {Nope, your screwed over ^^} - Rozi ... -_-

Some suggestions for you to consider:

  • Don’t tell anyone that you have a tulpa again, or at least you creating one, especially when you’re worried that they’ll set a ticket for you to go to the nut house. There’s no benefit of you telling anyone you’re not comfortable in discussing about other than to have some misplaced sense of belonging and acceptance. It's that same desire to feel accepted that will bite you somewhere along the process.

  • I understand you hate lying to your mother, but depending on how much she's informed on the concept of tulpa, this isn't something that you have to address to her. She seems to be okay with you having one without trying to send you in for a lobotomy or an asylum, so I guess she's fairly open-minded. However, I wouldn't go too far with that open-mindedness seeing how parents would be naturally inclined to be considerate of their child's sanity/mentality capacity/etc. when they haven't developed competence of the concept in the first place.

Not only does this save you from feeling guilty, it will save yourself a lot of hassle in the long run. Learning to lie or being secretive about this is something people will have to face when others would use conjectures and weak theories on schizophrenia, MPD/DID, and other psychological ailments in trying to associate that with the tulpa phenomenon.

  • Whatever you personally feel would ontologically define a tulpa, it seems you’re more focused on distinct voices and thinking they’re “accidental tulpa.” I hear all sorts of voices from time to time when communicating with Eva or Ada, but I don’t categorize them as tulpas because I don’t invest as much time into developing them as I did for Eva and Ada. Just because you hear a voice, doesn’t mean you’re going to become an innate sociopath/psychopath if you decide to ignore the voice

  • The mere act of you utilizing a process for cryogenic freezing a tulpa is merely symbolism. It’s understandable that you can’t handle having another tulpa for the time being. And frankly, with your position with the one you’re working with now, the new voice has yet to become developed than you think she/he may be.

  • Don’t let your conscience get the best of you with the guilt, if you want to avoid making another tulpa, then avoid making another tulpa until you think you’re ready.

  • If you still decide to go with the cryogenic freeze tulpa process, which is honestly the same as any stasis symbolism, do so. You pretty much answered your own question when you stated you would check on her every day to make sure she didn’t disappear.

In essence, what defines a tulpa is subjective for each person, but it seems you’re gravitating solely on the voice aspect when voices can be conjured up by the mind when you’re training yourself to build awareness of the tulpa(s) you’re interacting with.

General rule of thumb, at least in how I deal with it, is that as long as I don’t invest the time into developing that voice into someone more sentient, imposed, visualized, etc., I would consider them what others would label as NPCs/proto-tulpas/-insert your own jargon here-, and not the cluster of ontological aspects of what makes a “tulpa.”

In time, you'll learn bend your morality and ethical approaches a bit so you're flexible enough to adapt to this difficulty you're having...otherwise, you'll just snap.

Thank you Linkzelda for your quick response. I went ahead and sent her into cryogenic stasis.

This is confusing. Why cryogenic stasis?

How exactly did you accidentally make a tulpa over night?

Well, I sorta have been thinking about it for a while, thinking about future tulpae and such. Probably shouldn't have done that. I guess my subconscious just took that as a go....

There is an old technique, called the Roman Room system, for making a Memory House which preserves memories. In our experiments, we have found that a memory house can also preserve a tulpa too (in an active or a sleep state). Perhaps also consider this? It is a widely known mnemonic technique.

Please consider supporting Tulpa.info.
