if you forget something, does your tulpa remember?

Recommended Posts

i've been wondering if it's possible for a tulpa and host to see/hear/feel something, and one of them to remember it more than the other. to clarify, i'll make an example:

system sees todays date, host forgets date, host asks tulpa "do you remember the date?", tulpa remembers date.

have any of you experienced this? do you think it's possible?

It depends on your level of separation. Our system isn't very separated, but we are working on it. I have definitely heard of people doing this before though, but I can't remember offhand.

"My lover's got humour,

She's the giggle at a funeral,

Knows everybody's disapproval,

I should've worshipped her sooner."

Well, don't expect tulpa to be an oracle, which knows everything you once knew, but in some cases might help.

Though it doesn't work like you have probably seen in Sherlock Holmes, it is very random.

Regret doesn't change me

Yeah, we experience this. Sometime I am the one who remembers where we left something, and sometimes she is the one. Could the other have remembered just as well? No, I guarantee there would have been a minute of searching around instead.

It happened before, but the first time it happemed i was unsure if that was a wild guess or rather than partners remembering what i couldn't remember, but most of the time it happened in moderation for us. It really depends on on one's system.

Especially when i can't remember where i place my glasses >.>

Hello! I am nihi, i have 3 tulpas

It does happen. Like i would say, please remind me blah blah... and they do. Sometimes we all can't remember, even things we should know, but we share a lot of memories and experiance together, so the same mental block can affect us all i suppose.

Rachel, can you give an example? Do you remember a specific experiance?

I was on the freeway, and i needed to remember to get off at the right exit, and go to the bank, and pick up checks, and take a different route home during construction. But i forgot to write this all down. I knew the situation was dire. So i asked a tulpa to remember to at least remind me to pick up checks, cause i had forgotten already for more than a month. Simply put, she knew exactly when to chime in and remind me, and she remembered everything else too.

Usually Zack would remember things that happened to me and might bring it up to talk about. Or, on occasion will be like, "Hey, don't forget about that movie you wanted to see tomorrow."

I think the most reacquiring thing that Zack reminds me to do, is eat. Sometimes when I'm undergoing a lot of stress I may forget to eat a meal or two. Zack will always remind me to eat, being quite forceful about it, in ensuring that I don't starve. This is the only specific example I can think of to give.

Athena can't speak verbally yet, but we have other ways of communicating. I was doing my Spanish test and couldn't remember the meaning of a word. I was going to guess anyway, so I asked her.

She answered correctly. We ran some more tests: it seems she can only remember things I could reasonably remember too. But yes, she can remember something I do not.
