doctiger October 24, 2014 Share October 24, 2014 So Teo and I had huge improvements (he's sentient, I can see him at times very well, almost perfectly and I hear his voice) but I still have a problem of hearing him clearly, ie when I ask him something a bit more complicated that requires a complicated answer or just something I've never heard of. This problem also comes up when I talk with other people in wonderland but they usually rephrase the sentence so I understand them completely. Sometimes I do hear these complicated stuff but most of the times I don't. So, the question: Is there a way for me to improve my hearing skills or will it come over time? Guest amber5885 October 24, 2014 Share October 24, 2014 It just takes practice. Over time his voice will become stronger and clearer, you can play question and answer games or just have conversations with him to help it along. Also his complexity in his answers will also grow over time. When Toby first started talking it was one or two word answers and anything super complicated made me feel like he was really straining to answer. It almost gave me a headache but now there's no issue.. It just takes time.
FurryBlueNaki October 24, 2014 Share October 24, 2014 I hear my tulpa in the same voice when I thought I was hearing God before talking to me. It's in my own inner voice. Nothing special. I think it takes practice. When I read, I try to have him doing the reading so that I can get a better feel for his voice. Hopefully it will become separate from my own voice before long. Quilten October 24, 2014 Share October 24, 2014 Work on having your tulpa talk to you and try to focus as much as you can on the specifics and clarity of his voice. Train yourself to hear things with more clarity through practice, which could just include talking to him regularly and often. Clarity of his voice gives me something to focus on. Before it was just an ambigouous focusing on his mindvoice. Chance, an anthro husky, wolf or fox. Birthdate September 20, 2014. Quilten October 24, 2014 Share October 24, 2014 Yeah, mindvoices can get a bit difficult sometimes where aspects of good communication are concerned. I find it interesting that in the same way you can't change the "volume" of your voice in your head (technically not true, but the point is made), you can't change the "volume" of your tulpa's. It's not so much volume, though, as it is how the tone of the words that are being said are. It's more of a situation in which communication is based off of swapping ideas or a construct a word represents, in some cases. That's why some people can communicate well with a tulpa that can't even talk. Just thought that was worth mentioning. But yeah, things will become a lot easier to understand and "hear" through practice. Good luck! Gryphon Flight October 24, 2014 Share October 24, 2014 We're having the same problem, and it seems like practice is the best solution. Playing word games are fast easy ways to improve the sound of your tulpa's voice and can also help with parallel processing and vocabulary. Just keep at it, and I'm sure you'll hear significant progress soon enough.
FurryBlueNaki October 24, 2014 Share October 24, 2014 I would practice more but my tulpa doesn't usually have a lot to say to me. He's like me in that he doesn't say more than he needs to. I don't talk much outside of work. Chance, an anthro husky, wolf or fox. Birthdate September 20, 2014. Sentient October 1, 2014.

arcanemagic October 25, 2014 Share October 25, 2014 The same's happening with Markus and I. It seems that it gets better with practice, so I'd suggest just talking to him/her :P Markus is the tulpa, and I don't really have anything else to say. Markus speaks in Blue!
