Need advice on modelling a tulpa on a tv-show character, any advice would be great!

I'm creating a tulpa based on an animated character in a tv show. What I've been doing for the past few days is narrating a lot, and visualizing her in my environment all the time. Will doing this eventually lead to a response from her? Or am I going about this the wrong way?

I assume that since she is a real character (Whom I have spent much watching and reading about), I already know her personality inside and out. What I'm hoping to happen is to simply get a response in her voice while talking to her one day.

Thank you for your help! If you could tell me how long this will take it would be much appreciated too.

I sent this as an email to Pleeb, he told me to post it here, thanks everyone!

Well, I don't think you should visualize it on your environment, but use the whole wonderland idea that's in the guides. Other than that, you should also interact with it while you visualizing and get those feelings right, like touch and smell. You should also imagine it naked for an hour or so, so your tulpa wont be stuck to the same clothes forever. Other than that, I think you're ok, just keep going for some 60 hours and it might talk. There's that whole thing about personality too, but you should read the guides and see what you think is best.

1) Don't make a character.

2) Visualizing comes after personality.

3) What you're doing is fake imposition. Do not visualize on. Your environment.

4) Even if you think you know her personality, put it into traits and personality tulpaforce about them.

5) Narrating throughout is good, keep going.

Making an existing character is okay, just don't expect her to come out exactly like on the show. Visually, minor (sometimes major) things will change. Personality-wise, expect larger changes because a TV character won't match the personality your subconscious wants for her.

A common suggestion is to use a background character who doesn't have much of a personality. That way, you can apply whatever personality you (and later she) wants.

A couple warnings if your character has a defined personality on the show:

  • Your tulpa may have an identity crisis when she learns about the character she's based on. She might be upset that she isn't what she's "supposed to" be. However, if you expect her to be a different person and only look like that character, and tell her this, it should be okay.
  • Having your own different and more-real version of the character with you all the time may ruin the show for you.

..ṫhe hell, I had to go into full-reply mode to edit the subject because it was too long after "RE:" was auto-added to it...

Lyra: human female, ~17

Evan: boy, ~14, was an Eevee

Anera: anime-style girl, ~12; Lyra made her

I don't see why everyone gets so obssesed with avoiding making characters. The only thing I can say about this is that don't force the personality onto her.

Does anyone have any indentity crisis stories that go bad? I've heard the advide everywhere but no one that has had any experience of it.

I don't remember who but I know at least one person registered here has had problems with tulpa identity crises.
