Neuromancy: Altering your perception through willpower

What is neuromancy? Simply put, neuromancy is the trained skill of altering one's perception through willpower. Sounds a lot like imposition, right? Well, that's because it basically is. It's a practice that skips tulpas altogether, and focuses on imposition. It's a very powerful tool, if you put in the time to learn how to use it.

I'm currently pursuing a degree in cognitive neuropsychology, and hope to learn more about how conscious intention changes physical perception. Since it relies heavily on the placebo effect, this project can also teach us more about how far it can go. As of currently, the answer is: further than I ever expected. So if you've ever wanted to bend reality to your will, or just want to contribute to our understanding of the human brain, stop on by. We'd love to have you.

This actually goes about explaining imposition in a clearer and more precise manner than most of the user guides here. This whole forum would be useful to those trying to learn imposition.

Either way the information in that forum isn't bad. Its a little novice but i found it helpful at least.

Tulpa forcing involves tulpas but doesn't necessarily involve imposition. Neuromancy, from my understanding of it, involves imposition doesn't necessarily involve tulpas. The two intersect with tulpa imposition, but neuromancy includes things like imposed objects, imposed wonderlands, HUD servitors, changing the taste of foods, and stuff like that.

There's a bit more about it, along with links, here.

I'm definitely very interested, and will be signing up.

Yay more things to read...as if reading about tulpas and different things to do with them wasent enough. I mean i like learning things around the topic of psychology or things similar to it but dang too much to read

But hey it does sound very interesting and ill probably go onto reading it later to help me later on

Is this research or just an advertisement for your website?

This is research. I created a website so that I can gather everything related to neuromancy in one place. I need more people to test this out, which is why I put it here.
