Default  Niko's Tulpa Journals

So, I just found out about this whole Tulpa scheme a couple of days ago. I had considered this for quite some time, until I finally did my first tulpa forcing session today, following on FAQ's guide somewhat.

My very first attempt was actually made on the floor of the local bus station. I leaned on the wall, closed my eyes and just started thinking of the traits that I wanted for my tulpa, explaining to him what they are and how will he use them with examples. This lasted for thirty minutes, until I opened my eyes and noticed my bus coming, I felt rather oozy after that. After the bus trip was over, I looked up the tutorial Phi made, and decided to try it.

I turned on my music and leaned forward, against the computer table and closed my eyes, my head hanging free and my arms resting on the table, starting to think of all the traits I had scribbled down. This took a few minutes, until I started talking to my tulpa in my mind. I introduced myself, telling how we were going to create you, even having some small-talk in between. Then I had this weird feeling, like I was spinning round and round and round on my chair. I tried focusing despite the feeling, but I quickly gave up and opened my eyes again. The feeling stopped, and I felt a bit oozy again.

So, 15 minutes doing a 'pre-introduction' on my tulpa, and 30 minutes tulpa forcing. Lets see where this goes.

RE: Niko's Tulpa Journals

Thanks for the support guys, I'll try my best to follow this through.

Anyway, I did another mini session of tulpaforcing, just focusing on a single trait. I was sitting on my couch, resting my legs on a legrest and leaning my head on a big pillow, closing my eyes and starting to imagine. It didn't last long, but I had another weird sensation. I felt as if a tear dripped from the corner of my eye, and running down my cheek. After a few minutes, I opened my eyes again and noticed my cheeks and eyes were completely dry. The feeling of the drop running down my cheek was very clear, so I might be onto something here.

Anyway, despite some people objecting to this, I'll try doing some sleepforcing for my tulpa, seeing how it turns out. Reports will probably come tomorrow.

Another 15 minutes, adding my counter to a total of 45 minutes.

Well, the night really didn't turn out as expected.

First I tried to do some tulpaforcing while lying on my bed, falling asleep. I didn't actually fall asleep, but I got some weird feelings during it. When I talked something about slipping on a banana, I had a sense of being pulled from my legs, then a feeling of rocking in my bed, going from side to side, like the big swinging boat things you have at amusement parks. After a few minutes of trying to sleep, I got another feeling, now some weird burning like feeling, very clear but very tiny running across my right ear, eventually stopping to the bottom of my earleaf and the sensation continuing. It's hard to explain, but it felt like my ear was being drilled or burned a tiny hole, no bigger than a sand grain. This lasted for about a minute, until I switched my head on the spot and the feeling stopped.

After that, I asked Dante if he could wake me a 5:30 am. Things didin't turn out as expected, and I was unable to sleep for the whole night. But oddly, that same feeling of something being on my right ear came back briefly, now more of a ticking and pulsing feeling. I wanted to see if it was really Dante, so I asked if he could do it again on the top part of my ear. The feeling stopped whe I said it, so no clue if it was s sign of sentience.

Add another 15 minutes to tulpaforcing, making a total of 45 minutes.

RE: Niko's Tulpa Journals

I think significant progress has just been made, I'm so excited now!

During a small session of tulpaforcing,no longer than ten minutes, I started having this tingling feeling on my cheek. I felt it running down on my cheek, and I decided to ask: "Dante(yeah, I named him Dante). If it's you, could you move it, closer to my mouth?"
And almost instantly after I said it, I felt the tingling spot moving towards my mouth. It was a total shitbrix moment for me, and I was so excited. I can't wait to communicate more with him!

RE: Niko's Tulpa Journals

Alright, decided to do a ten minute session of tulpaforcing, this time thinking about Dante's form, looking much like the Iron Giant. I even put on binaural beats to help me focus and get into a meditative state, and it did seem to help me a bit. Anyway, I didn't have any odd feelings this time, and it seemed like I wasn't in complete control of my imagination. When I created Dante's form, he would just randomly flail his limbs and bang his head, not being bale to make it stop. I tried creating a Rubik's Cube, but it just kept spinning and spinning, occasionally twisting the sides. I then tried using the prism technique, creating a prism and a festher and placing it on the prism. I didn't seem to be able to control it much, so it eventually changed into a flat plank. Even then I would have difficulties keeping it steady, constantly sliding off and forcing me to re-place it. Eventually I created some grabbing things on the base of the prism to keep it more in control, and it seemed to work. I focused all my energy on making that plank seesaw steadily, and I managed to do so briefly, whilst trying to keep Dante's form in my sights.

Eventually I was called and I broke my focus, deciding to stop and write this report.

Adding ten minutes to my forcing, making a total of one hour.

RE: Niko's Tulpa Journals

I think more progress was made with Dante, as he seems to have found a way to communicate with me without words. He does this tingling/burning feeling to the bottom of my ear, and keeping it there. I asked him simple questions, all of them being a yes or no answers. He seemed to move the spot up and down to show he agreed, and move from side to side if he said no. The feeling is still present in my ear, and I've gotten used to it.

Other then that, we focused on Dante's form for 30 minutes, trying to use the prism technique to see if he'd move, which he didn't unfortunately.

Tulpaforcing has now been done for a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes.

RE: Niko's Tulpa Journals

So, another thirty minutes of tulpaforcing, and more progress has been made.

It focused more on visualizing him, and I decided to scrap the original idea of making him look like the Iron Giant. Instead, I created him to look like a toa from the Bionicle universe, I even have my old lego box with bionicle pieces in them for physically creating Dante! When I had finished 'building' the form, I did some puppeteering with him. I made him walk around a bit, going from left, to right and back to center. I could actually make him stop walking, and just standing still and heaving, like he was breathing. It seems I need something to move on my creations or else it will just spiral out of control and I have to scrap it.

Anyway, other than that I've mainly just narrated to him, doing small talk while doing my daily chores, I even talked to him out loud when I made sure no one was around close enough to hear me talking to Dante. The tingling in my ear remains to stay, nudging and moving while I ask him questions. I've even had surprising responses from him, like one where he said no to my question of if he likes singing. We're looking forward to achieving more progress with him, before my summer job starts.

Adding another thirty minutes of tulpaforcing, making a total of 2 hours.
