Tulpaforce Floundering

When I go to force, I just feel like I'm floundering. I have all the traits laid out, but when I go to force I can sum up a trait in like 5-10 minutes. Then I spend like 10-15 or so floundering about trying to find some other relevant caveat about the trait to force. I've read the trait template guide by faqman and that helped immensely. However, I find that a lot of the prompts in there just aren't really applicable to a lot of traits (i.e. in what way are her hobbies related to her kindness?). What kind of prompt-y type things do you use to elaborate on traits?

I set up hypothetical situations and talked her through how she may play it out based on x trait.

If you haven't seen the section in FAQ_Man's personality guide on what to say during personality: "When you're outlining the trait be sure to include: How the trait helps them rationalize, how the trait works within their logic system, how the trait plays a role in morality, their perception, their likes, dislikes, social endeavors, faith, personality, quirks, emotions, how the trait makes them interpret their own emotions, how the trait plays a role in their hobbies, and many other things not listed here."

Personally I think it might be helpful to pick a trait similar to one you're having trouble with, and split the time you'd take for the first trait (10-15 minutes) between both traits. While there is still some redundancy in the overlap between the two related traits, it removes a lot of time floundering. If you are stuck trying to find a related trait, just type the trait into a thesaurus and pick from the list of synonyms.

Well, I wrote them in a book I dubbed "The Necronomicon" and I read them to him every so often, then I have him the book to read whenever he wants. I also did a small amount of puppeting, and I would just imagine situations with Shin and how Shin reacts. Read more about that in my progress report of you want, it's more in-depth

My opinions are all subject to change.

(e.g. in what way are her hobbies related to her kindness?).

a kind person may prefer hobbies that include or allow them to help others, may let others win in games, prefer softer music, etc.

You just gotta think about it harder. If it wouldn't affect what hobbies she has, think about how it might affect how she plays her hobbies out, or exactly how much she enjoys that hobby, or maybe it's why she has that hobby...

If you're ever stuck on a thing like that, split it up into more questions. Actually, do that anyway; Think about every tiny little aspect of the trait and every tiny little way it affects things, and all the ways it could affect your tulpa but didn't/doesn't.

Tulpa:

Name: Elyse (Elly)

Birthday: 29th May, 2012

Physical description: 5"8 thin human girl. self-identified age 18. ~1ft, vivid red hair sometimes in a ponytail. light-skinned. green eyes.

Progress: entirely vocal, speaks often, but only 1 hallucination; her saying "Hiiii". Great at possession.
