whtwvphntm December 13, 2013 Share December 13, 2013 Hi, I am having trouble communicating with my tulpa. She has said my name twice and a few other things that weren't clear. We have started practicing possession so that she can try communicating that way to help but I keep doubting myself. I have tried finding answers in these forums but couldn't find anything. So I have a couple questions: Is it possible for her to even do possession without being vocal? Am I making it all up even though my fingers move when I know I am not doing it? What should possession feel like? Thanks :) Tulpa/s: Kudos-Male-Human
Linkzelda December 13, 2013 Share December 13, 2013 Is it possible for her to even do possession without being vocal? It's probable, though you may have to resort to nonverbal communication (e.g. images/symbolism/implications) obviously. Though to be on the safe side and to save yourself some hassle, especially with my response to your next question, having a vocal tulpa that you can communicate with helps a lot. Am I making it all up even though my fingers move when I know I am not doing it? I'll be honest with you, a lot of the initial attempts will feel as if you're just conjuring up beliefs that your tulpa is doing it. The only thing I can say is that you'll have to keep pushing through that doubt and keep going through implications that your tulpa is making the movements. Keep reinforcing symbolism, your tulpa's existence (visualization, vocal, etc), and associate them with whatever movements you want to practice with. Start small and build your way up. Obviously, if you feel the need to initiate some movement and take baby steps, do so accordingly. Also, this applies when you're training in a session. If you go around thinking every single movement you make is "omg my tulpa is doing this," you're just going to exhaust yourself mentally. Things like this would be smoother if you go for developing a vocal tulpa for obvious reasons. What should possession feel like? It varies on how people conceptualize it, but for me, I usually get a static-y and buzzy feeling around my arms and hands that I let them focus on for possession more. It's like a numbing sensation seeing how they're obviously taking control over it.
