Questions about Visualization/wonderland???

Hello,
I literally just started Tulpa-Forcing today. Yesterday I planned out personality shape and wonderland. And as I was following most guides today as in think of a 1st person view in your dreamland with the form of the tuple you want in front of you I felt that I could only focus on one or the other. For example, if I focus on the form then the wonderland would fade to black, but if I focused on the wonderland I wouldn't be able to see my tuple correctly.
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you

Don't worry, it's natural. It's because our eyes have a focus point that is actually quite small, so when you close your eyes, you can only visualize clearly what's inside that focus point, things outside that may get blurry and the peripheric parts are downright blacked out. When you move your focus from your tulpa, you can see the wonderland clearly, but not your tulpa, and vice versa. It's how our eyes work.

However there is a guide of a method to overcome this: http://community.tulpa.info/thread-visua...ualization

That's the perfect example of what I'm experiancing, just the feeling of either being near sighted or far-sighted. I've also heard of imagining being in your wonderland in third person, would that be more useful?

Yes, that sort of focus is how our eyes work, but it is not necessarily how our mind's eye has to work.
Your mind's eye does not have a focus point, and it is possible to see even your peripherals in vivid detail.
As your visualization skills improve, your capacity for imaginary focus should increase, which can help you achieve this.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

If I still have trouble with visualizing should I change the form to an egg for simplicity so I could focus on the personality and narrating?

If you think that would be a good idea, then go for it. Otherwise, you could just not visualize at all until you're ready to really undertake it.

Also, I meant to address your third person question. Some people find that visualizing in third person helps, and others prefer first. Try them both and see which you are most comfortable with.

On the subject of that would changing wonderland, form, personality at this point (1 hour of planning, 30 minutes of forcing) be detrimental?

RE: Questions about Visualization/wonderland???

You can change wonderland and form at absolutely any time, no problem. Personality is a bit more iffy. But considering you've only been forcing for 30 minutes, I'm sure there's nothing to worry about.
