hime-a January 8, 2017 Share January 8, 2017 i've known about tulpas for about 2 years now. although i started making a tulpa in september i never really believed it was real as it was just a ball of light. then, about a month ago i came across a picture of a white tiger and decided that would be a formiI would love to attribute to a tulpa.. although he is free to change it at any time as well. but this added some passion to the subject and i really started the creation process. we decided together on the name li. Hello, it's nice to meet you all. a few of the reasons I decided to make a tulpa are to aid in my mindfulness & meditation practice.. to have an outlet for negative thoughts.. not to push them on my tulpa, but just someone to experience them with and try to find where they are coming from.. to have a friend who makes me feel strong & powerful and to help with other ptsd things.. so Li is sort of like a cool tiger monk friend who i explore my wonderland with. on most days, i'll use insight timer.. it has an instrumental guided meditation i found that's 45 minutes.. amazing really, if anyone wants the link.. has led us on many adventures. i parroted li for maybe a week but he is very strong.. and i think i've always known the right way to listen for him.. so we do not have a hard time talking especially in wonderland. the only problem i've been having is i feel like my negative thoughts are disturbing and saddening li.. sometimes i just get these random horrible visualizations. if it happens in my wonderland i worry i might be hurting him.. even though i don't want it to happen at all. the same things happen to me too. but i can't really hurt myself in my wonderland.. this only happens occasionally. but still enough for it to be a barrier. i don't really need advice about this.. i don't know what could help other than what i'm already doing, meditating and trying so hard to be positive. but i do think documenting my progress here will help a little. Its not as bad as she makes it seem. but i would have a better time if she could relax and not be so worried about hurting anyone with her thoughts. her thoughts & visualizations are very powerful in the wonderland. so hello everyone. you are all such a welcoming community, thank you for it. by levineh on deviantart
tulpa001 January 9, 2017 Share January 9, 2017 Oh, welcome to the site Li and Hime. Tulpas can definitely help you to understand your mind better. Been trying to help with meditation too. (I think I am actually better at it.) That stuff is rarely dangerous. Usually, only belief that it is dangerous can make it so. However, since you guys get that stuff, you should look into banishing spells or other techniques to get rid of the thoughts when they come up. Host comments in italics. Tulpa's log. Tulpa's guide. Vos January 14, 2017 Share January 14, 2017 If you're getting unwanted negative thoughts and have a strong attachment to your wonderland, maybe you could set up something to block them as a form of symbolism. Other people who have had this problem tried making structures in their mind to "ward off" thoughts like the ones you're having and it's worked wonders. Fairweather January 15, 2017 Share January 15, 2017 K: Nice to meet the two of you, and like tulpa001 said, the only real dangers are ones you believe in. Anything can easily be fixed. Aurora January 16, 2017 Share January 16, 2017 Hello Li and Hime, welcome to the community (: I remember there was a period of time when my host was constantly visualizing intrusive and unwanted thoughts, but it never really hurt me. It was more of a silly nuisance than a real danger to anyone. I like that drawing a lot. My Samantha Steam DeviantArt Progress report
hime-a January 19, 2017 Author Share January 19, 2017 If you're getting unwanted negative thoughts and have a strong attachment to your wonderland, maybe you could set up something to block them as a form of symbolism. Other people who have had this problem tried making structures in their mind to "ward off" thoughts like the ones you're having and it's worked wonders. I'm going to try to look up some examples of this and do it, and incorporate it also to make some other aspects to make communication stronger. Symbolism tends to help me a lot. Thanks for the advice :)
