The prism technique works, but...

Recommended Posts

Just now, I decide to use the Vandenreich's prism.

I first visualize Fluttershy right infront of me, then visualize a prism and a feather on to, then I start moving the feather like a see saw. And then she shove the prism from head and threw a hissy fit, turning her back on me. I was surprise with this, but then did it again cause I though it was funny. Well, she grab the prism then threw it at my face.

I make it up to her by saying I won't do that again and she hugged me.

Granted, I did it again but this time I expected her to stay still. She didn't do a thing at all, but I stopped before she gets really pissed off.

Pretty sure she's gaining sentince and have deviate her personality.

Anyone else used the technique and got the same result?

Screw girlfriends! I got my tulpa!

Yes, and it shows the power of conscious expectation in the formation of beliefs at this stage of the process. Just keep it up; keep expecting her to surprise you and act on her own. Eventually this expectation will become habitual, as will her independence.

Your thinking needs a readjust; total concentration is a must.

When I did it the first couple of times she just stood there and did nothing (aside from her shifting around in her hooves). The third time (i believe?) she just pushed it off her nose and looked right at me. To be completely honest I haven't had any problems with parroting from the start, I just did this test to see what would happen.

Well now I got the urge to use the prism again.

Atleast yours didn't threw the prism at your face. Didn't hurt but it took me by surprise.

Actually this thread inspired me to try this prism test with my tulpa songohan, at first i feared that because of the expectation he would also throw the prism at me but it was exactly the opposite :D The result was kinda surprising! Soon after i started rocking the feather on the feather i noticed his huge eyes looking up (without tilting the head, it was kinda funny) and then with his left hand he tried to reach the feather and grabbed it and while similing he started tickling my face with it! I found this incredibly funny and amazing the way he tried to reach the feather, i wasn't expecting this ! Definetly he didn't took offense to this test!

I also tried the same test later, a few seconds later he just moved out of the way near me and letting the prism and feather floating in mid air, then the prism and feather just dropped to the ground and he started laughting :)

I am eager to try this with the other tulpas as well.

The prism method is stupid, as is any "sentience confirming" method.
