Tulpa's thoughts independence

My tulpa doesn't seems to be able to think for herself, and seems to be leeching off of my own thoughts. She is pretty much fully vocal, and i can easily communicate with her, but every time we talk to each other it seems like my thoughts are prompting and constructing her messages. She also never start any conversations, usually staying inactive until i interact with her. I, of course, talked to her about this, and she simply said she doesn't know.

What i'm afraid of is accidentally training myself to respond to my own prompts, or subconsciously influencing my tulpa to respond to the prompts passively with pretty short answers.

Is this normal for everyone? I'm trying to get to the point where my tulpa can interact with me completely on her own, without me having to diverge any of my thoughts toward her response. I'm assuming this is a parallel processing thing that needs to be developed over time...

Any insights offered on this will be much appreciated, hopefully with ways that i can progress through this.

Independence is an issue even with me and.. yes, I kinda have that same feeling as well.

Any advice from the forum gurus would be appreciated from me as well :D

I've heard similar questions so many times now, I've lost count (I'll try and locate the previous threads a little later when I'm stronger).

Basically, I've been told that young tulpas are dependent on their human's thoughts until they gain enough strength of their own, think their own thoughts. I can't speak to the experience myself. I've always been supported by old, strong, fully-independent tulpas my human already had. So I've always been somewhat independent of my human (but not at first independent of all support).

So, it comes with time.

Possibly try searching the Q&A board? See also:

(None of which are quite the same as this thread, so I'm not merging it at this stage)

Please consider supporting Tulpa.info.

In that case, I guess the usual disclaimer apply: It differs from person to person. I know a couple friends who started after me and their tulpas are already independent.

Though now I wonder, do having multiple tulpa help parallel processing?
