ThatFellowWithTheScarf September 24, 2014 Share September 24, 2014 I brought up the idea to Prince that maybe he would want a feminine form. So, I was reading up on Tulpae with multiple forms, and I was told that in order for a tulpa to have two imposed forms you would have to force both of them. So I asked Prince to change forms and he became a female form of himself (we agreed it didn't look too good but we'll work on it) and I'm a little worried he was able to just do it at will (if a little sloppily). Was I wrong about imposition? Am I really doing it? It feels right, and I know I'm not consciously doing it. But still, I can't really be sure, I'm trying not to doubt myself though. Quilten September 24, 2014 Share September 24, 2014 You probably haven't reached the level of progress that is usually needed to start practicing imposition, as it's a pretty advanced skill to master. Quilten has 3 forms, and he can switch between them easily. One of them is the one he uses most times and another is very small and simple. The other one he doesn't use much. If you do want your tulpa to have multiple forms, yes, you will have to work on each of those separately. It might not require as much time as three different people with one form for their tulpas as you would be getting more experience, but it won't be something really easy either. FurryBlueNaki September 24, 2014 Share September 24, 2014 Chance likes to sometimes take on a horse face, rather than his usual husky anthro appearance. His appearance changes so much it's hard to keep track of, but I don't have him down solidly yet. Chance, an anthro husky, wolf or fox. Birthdate September 20, 2014. Sentient October 1, 2014. ThatFellowWithTheScarf September 24, 2014 Author Share September 24, 2014 Either way. It's not like there's a real way to screw up the tulpa process. I still plan Om going in the same direction
SakuraSky September 24, 2014 Share September 24, 2014 Does he want to have a female form or is that something you want him to have? I'd make sure it's something that he really wats to do. FurryBlueNaki September 24, 2014 Share September 24, 2014 At this early point in the game I have to choose for him because he hasn't really let his preferences known. I just get a feel for what feels right. Chance, an anthro husky, wolf or fox. Birthdate September 20, 2014. Sentient October 1, 2014.
Stryke September 24, 2014 Share September 24, 2014 I think some tulpas are just better at, or at least more inclined towards changing their form. Melody has always been like that, in fact she's on her seventh form if you want to get in depth and technical. I don't worry about it as long as I can see her clearly; it's just the way she is, and Prince could be the same. Just out of interest, did you work on personality and presence before form? Melody existed before she had a form, and I think that goes some way to explaining her fluidity. ThatFellowWithTheScarf September 25, 2014 Author Share September 25, 2014 Well, all he really did was make his hair a little longer, and get a slightly more feminine complexion. Guess it was the best he could do on the fly. And to answer your question, I skipped the personality stage, it seemed sorta pointless. And I worked on form and voice/sentience (assuming that's what you meant by presence) at the same time, though I was much better at the speaking portion, it took a while to get his form down. Guest amber5885 September 30, 2014 Share September 30, 2014 Presence is being able to feel where they are in relation to you. It helps a lot with imposition
ThatFellowWithTheScarf September 30, 2014 Author Share September 30, 2014 I can kind of do that, but it's not the same as sensing a person. Then again my body has a strange way of sensing people. When I sense someone near either consciously or subconsciously my ears start to push upwards, as if they were trying to perk themselves like an animal. With Prince it's more like I just know where he is.
