Sharing a body with your Tulpa

Recommended Posts

Here's something I want to know. Is it possible to share a body with your tulpa?

It certainly seems like something that can be done, and it could probably even be easier than going through the visualization process. I'm just thinking about this so I can see if I can share a body with my tulpa and then get it to 'move out' into it's own hallucinatory body once I know it's sentient.

I suppose that's possible as long as you're referring to form. You do share a body. Your's.

But I don't see the point in sharing a form, anyway. If you just don't want to bother visualizing them, then don't. They don't have to have a form in the first place.

If anything, I would just think it would be confusing, and limiting.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

I'm not sure what exactly you mean with sharing the body with your tulpa.

Do you mean that you both control it at the same time? Yes, I think that's possible, I read about that in a switching guide I think, let me see.

Too bad, can't find it right now :/

Yes, you can create a formless tulpa who's just a voice in your head, and able to control the body like you do. A second consciousness. A co-pilot, so to speak.

As for moving them out into their own body once they're sentient, it should work, but I see one potential pitfall. It's not particularly easy for you to move out into a hallucinatory body -- that is, have an out-of-body experience. It's possible, but you're habitually very much attached to your senses, so it takes sleep paralysis or a great deal of meditation to make it happen. I can see the same problem happening for a tulpa who grows up attached to the physical senses and not knowing anything else.

Actually, I recall there being a tulpa here (Hex, iirc) who spent a long time attached to her host's senses and away from her hallucinatory body, and found it difficult to detach from the senses.
