Sleep deprivation

Probably not, as when I'm sleep deprived, I get auditory hallucinations. Nothing too complex, usually just a random word or phrase in a random voice at a random volume.

I wouldn't say they would be able to talk in the traditional sense, but depending on how sleep deprived you are, I suppose there's a chance you could hallucinate them talking. In order to have them say anything even slightly coherent you'd have to go at least 4-6 days without sleep, and by that time you'll be battling shadow people with a rolling pin while naked, so I would question exactly how coherent it could be.

I tried sleep deprivation for a couple of days and only got random (read: RANDOM) voices. You're better off just tulpaforcing.

No, and if you go without sleep you could actually lose some of what you tulpaforced that day. Your brain needs sleep in order to organize the information that you got that day. If you do not sleep, your brain doesn't organize that information and it begins to toss it out.

I've actually noticed that, Phi. I always did have a harder time picking up on Clair when I didn't get enough sleep.

Kage is actually an evil genius. He knows exactly what he's doing, and he masturbates over your shed jimmies and tears of butt-frustration while gently stroking the shift key whispering sweet nothings to it as he pushes it in all the right ways every time he begins a new word.
