Guest Wizz May 26, 2012 Share May 26, 2012 When in earlier stages of creating a tulpa, such as working on personality, which yields better results? Speaking to the tulpa aloud, or 'thinking' to it, in a manner of telepathy?
ThatOneGuy May 26, 2012 Share May 26, 2012 Speaking aloud is something called narrating, and it has typically shown better results in the early stages, and all the stages really. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
Phi May 26, 2012 Share May 26, 2012 I believe somebody said that speaking aloud gets them to talk earlier, but speaking in your mind makes it easier to communicate with them post-creation via telepathy.
ThatOneGuy May 26, 2012 Share May 26, 2012 That makes sense, since it would strengthen the telepathic bond between the creator and tulpa early on. I guess do whatever you think would work for you; think, would you rather communicate more through vocalizations or telepathy? Orange juice helps with concentration headaches. Charlotte May 26, 2012 Share May 26, 2012 Has anyone done both? Might try that. This hot empty painting should be locked and towed.
Phi May 26, 2012 Share May 26, 2012 Well eventually they'll become vocal anyway. It's more of a question of can you wait longer to hear them talk or not.
Guest May 26, 2012 Share May 26, 2012 Well, I am almost never alone, so I can almost never find a time to do this without looking like a huge jack-ass in public. I could do it behind a closed door, and pretend I'm on the phone, or on skype? Or maybe I could just wear a blue-tooth in public at all times. I don't know, what do you think? ThatOneGuy May 26, 2012 Share May 26, 2012 A nice balance does sound ideal to me, even if I did telepathy more than narrating early on. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.

Wireless May 26, 2012 Share May 26, 2012 I do both on a pretty equal balance, maybe in the future I'll be able to tell if this yields a better result than just one. I've been using them to the point I can switch between them while talking without compromising my focus on my tulpa. At first I had to take sometime to make the change, but it's become more of an habit. http://wirelesslog.tumblr.com/ - My tulpa blog, updates regularly.
