TiaAndBlitz July 24, 2017 Share July 24, 2017 Hello. I've recently started creating Blitz. Right now, he's just a black orb until he can speak. Yesterday was the day I started working on him. I introduced myself, told him his name, and what he's here for and what he is. Then I wrote his traits and explained them to him and how they'll make him act. I plan to do this today. And after that I told him about an experience I had and got sad and quiet. No response, no emotion. I'm not sure if he applied head pressure either. I also parrot with him. Say something, then reply in his voice, like that. Anyways, a question I have is...how do I know my words are reaching him? Do I just speak in my mind and he'll hear me? Or do I have to actually visualize him while I'm speaking for it to work?
Tewi July 24, 2017 Share July 24, 2017 If you're speaking TO him, he'll hear you. No guarantee he will if you just say things without focusing on him somewhat. Keeping your tulpa in your mind is required for forcing them - but it's also a given. Not something you should ever have to worry about. Hi, I'm Tewi, one of Luminesce's tulpas. I often switch to take care of things for the others. All I want is a simple, peaceful life. With my family. Tewi July 24, 2017 Share July 24, 2017 Just direct the thoughts towards him. It's not about words or any specific rules, you just have to intend to be talking to him. Directing your thoughts at your tulpa and expecting them to be hearing them is one of the biggest parts of creating a tulpa, because you're creating the expectation in your mind for there to be someone there listening to you. Whether or not you get results for a while, "expecting" them to be listening or able to talk is how they'll eventually be able to do so. But until they can, you pretty much just have to assume they're listening, yes. The only way you might not be talking "to him" is if you're paying no attention at all whatsoever, focused on something else instead. Hi, I'm Tewi, one of Luminesce's tulpas. TiaAndBlitz July 24, 2017 Author Share July 24, 2017 Ohh, okay. That's a bit more clear. I have been doing that, expecting him to answer every time. I tried explaining that head pressure thing to him so he could answer yes or no questions. I waited and waited but he didn't do anything I think...or it wasn't so noticeable. But yeah I'll just keep speaking to him ^^
MindsMatter July 27, 2017 Share July 27, 2017 I've thought about this as well. I don't even have a form to visualize for Jennifer, partly because I'm currently terrible at visualization, so I can't focus on that. What I do is narrate to her, preferably verbally, but with my mind's voice if the situation requires it, with the understanding that I am speaking, not to myself, but to her. I start talking by saying something to get her attention like "Hey Jennifer," and I use her name in conversation with way more frequency than I would anyone else. I think this helps me focus on that fact that I am talking to her, and not myself. I also ask her a lot of questions, either yes/no or open-ended ones. I'm pretty new at this, so take it all with a grain of salt, but I have noticed today some significant pressure around my nose when doing this. TiaAndBlitz July 27, 2017 Author Share July 27, 2017 No, you're fine lol. I started doing what you did too. Just using his name way too many times to remember I'm speaking to him. But for now you could visualize her as a cloud or orb or something else simple like that, like I did ^^
MindsMatter July 27, 2017 Share July 27, 2017 Funny you should mention it, I started visualizing her as a pink shiny egg shortly after my post. It seemed a fitting symbol for her at the moment. I'll add that before, and this is hard to describe, I would try to focus on her "awareness" while talking to her, the vague feeling of someone else paying attention to you. I'll try joining that with the egg :)
TiaAndBlitz July 27, 2017 Author Share July 27, 2017 Oh that's so pretty lol. And Jesus I thought you meant you just called her name and spoke. I just call his name and assume he's listening because my mind already knows who Blitz is so...I don't know lmao
MindsMatter July 27, 2017 Share July 27, 2017 Sometimes the best I can manage is to call her name and speak like that, but I try to feel that vague feeling of presence whenever possible. I feel like every bit helps, you know? Especially since I don't really know who she is right now.
