What I was thinking of is using this for forcing in general. Cutting off all the senses seems to be perfect for getting rid of distractions. Is it possible to get to the point where one wouldn't even realize that others are trying to wake him up? And then, could you make some kind of a trigger, a keyword that would be the only thing from the outside world that would reach you?

Still a rather long-term goal for me but just wondering if anyone did that before.

Approved even though I’m not sure if OP is still active in this forum. It’s formatted well and isn’t hard to understand. And a critique would just be on the symbolism and the “reverse imposition,” but it’s not something that would be difficult in getting the underlying concepts.

I actually used this method when I wanted to try out switching, and I’ve had good results from it. Though I’m not a fan of switching nowadays, but it’s definitely something I plan to do sometime in the future.

EDIT: Red font might be an issue to others, but wasn't for me. Guess other GAT members might think it's a bit intimidating to read.

Approved. Makes sense. Only thing that I see that it could stand to benefit from, is perhaps condensing the guide into one post? For me having it spread out across several broke the flow pretty bad.

Approved, the red does hurt my eyes though. And it would be an excellent idea to actually stuff the steps in the first post if they fit, right now having so many different posts makes it messy.

Approved for Guides. If Fuliam is around he should remove the redundant tag from the title. I added a real tag, because the one in the title doesn't do anything.

I really think the guide is long winded and the reverse-imposition idea complicates things more than it needs to be. I must disapprove.

4/9 GAT Members have approved of this for Guides.

Also Averian, the reverse-imposition concept isn't really hard to follow considering how it would be a mode for the host to start getting into imaginary senses, and theoretically attempt switching with their tulpa. It may seem complicated, but it's really breaking down sensory practice fairly well. I just imagine an image of myself, and go through the mannerisms of fixating concentration towards it. And then imagine Eva or Ada while they go through the motions of shifting to have more dominion over my body.

I think this level of detail, especially for switching, is needed so newcomers and such to get the concepts down.
