Thread Modes [Switching] Questions about switching

I have questions/concerns about switching, first off when you're switched does the wonder land seem as real as reality, if not what are the differences, also is what you can do in wonderland limited by reality or can you fly around and shoot lasers out of your ears. Also when your switched do you need your tulpas help to switch back or can you do it on your own and finally if your tulpa learns something in real life will you know it automatically.

The wonderland is as vivid as real life for the host at this point, so he often spends his time there with whoever is around. It's your imagination, so you can do whatever you'd like. I don't see why you'd have those limitations unless you imposed them for some reason. It's a mutual thing for us in terms of how we do it, but I've heard differently from others. The host can't switch back unless we go through the same process we did to make it happen in the first place. As for your last question, yes, the host knows everything that we learn.

The wonderland while switched is as real to you as it is to your tulpas. Take it from someone who can't visualize for crap. "Real as reality" is not guaranteed.

I feel like if you tried to switch back completely without your tulpa also trying to, you might have some issues with blending or whatever word you want to use. Could be messy, basically. But you should just be able to tell them you want to. Can you "switch on your own"? Seems like it's a joint effort to me.

Most likely, yes, you'll have memories of whatever they experience. In the tulpa community at least blackouts are very uncommon (unheard of, to me), though depending on how open you and your tulpa's minds are to each other, there could be varying levels of clarity. For us everything is effectively stored information-wise as if anyone else learned it, but the memories themselves have a sort of.. I dunno, you can just feel whoever it was that made them. It's their thoughts, their mindset, their point of view. Others may have separate memories though.

Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

I'm in full agreement with Lumi, on pretty much all points. XD

In addition, I find that when I'm switched out, my memories of what I did in the Wonderland are... murky at best. At least, assuming that the switched headmate isn't attending to what I'm doing, which is usually the case, since they prefer to explore the real world when they have access to it. And if they do pay attention to it, the memory stored in the body's memory is usually from their point of view, not mine. So, I rarely have much memory of what happened when I was switched out. If anything at all happened, which may be a different discussion altogether.

The memories that are stored are usually the ones the body experienced. regardless of who's driving. However, I agree with Lumi that the stored memories often have the "feel" of whoever stored them, since everyone experiences the world a little differently.
