TDR June 30, 2012 Share June 30, 2012 Hello. I've been lurking and monitoring this tulpa stuff since about April back when it was mostly conducted on /mlp/. I started the creation process June 21 using FAQ man's guide, and am currently in the process of visualization (~9 hours in). I decided to make him a TV head and the above is a bust drawing I did to help visualize his head. I named him Finn. TulpaCouple June 30, 2012 Share June 30, 2012 Oh, what a fun looking tulpa. Luke is similar in his lack of traditional way of showing expression(aka no real face) so I can't wait to hear more how this turns out.
TDR June 30, 2012 Author Share June 30, 2012 Thanks! I was planning on using a variety of color bars, test patterns, and images that he could use for expressions, in addition to body language.
TDR July 2, 2012 Author Share July 2, 2012 Since my last post on Saturday, I've only gotten ~1.5 hours of forcing done. I've been doing both the visualization and touch parts simultaneously by visualizing Finn and feeling him from the toes upward in an attempt to better remember the feel and the shape of him early on. In today's session I spent a some time on visualization and gave him some clothes: boxers, a shirt, pants, and shoes. Then, I worked on some gestures and such, working in test patterns, clips, anything that could work as an indication of emotions. I then decided to spend some time with him in my wonderland, a concert hall that connects to other random areas and rooms (I've had a somewhat long history practicing and appreciating music of all kinds). I told my tulpa about my current fascination with chorale music and first year of choir. I then began to sing a piece that my choir and I did recently for a church function. As I was singing, I got this weird overwhelming sense of happiness, which overshadowed my usual lack of confidence in my singing. I'm not entirely sure if it came from Finn or not, but it made me feel much more content with my performance than I expected. After that, we just kind of explored the wonderland a bit while I just talked to him about my life and stuff that was going on. Anyways, I'll try to post another update tomorrow.
