jean-luc February 25, 2018 Share February 25, 2018 I'd like to post instances of people using the correct plural. To start, we have the tulpa.info twitter account: https://twitter.com/tulpa_info Whoever wrote the description (Pleeb, presumably) gets bonus points for using æ instead of just ae. Thank you, tulpa-twitter-description-writer-who-is-probably-but-might-not-be-Pleeb. I don't visit as often as I used to. Luminesce February 25, 2018 Share February 25, 2018 So, what, it's supposed to be "the tulpas phenomenon"? I think he just used tulpæ instead of tulpa. If it were plural, he would've written tulpæs. Also that was probably written in 2012. Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn. Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature. My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.
jean-luc February 25, 2018 Author Share February 25, 2018 Yeah, like if you had a bunch of pigs flying around, you might call it the Pigs Phenomenon. I don't know why pigs came to mind but pigs. I don't visit as often as I used to. If you want me to see something, make sure to quote a post of mine or ping me @jean-luc

KarlYoshimura February 26, 2018 Share February 26, 2018 chalupas I've seen good people bleed And I thought I'd seen it all But my own two eyes would prove me wrong that day. There are things that I've done Only seen by the sun And those things will be buried in my grave.

Apollo Fire February 27, 2018 Share February 27, 2018 Why would you use a plural in the phrase "the __ phenomenon" anyway? Would you say "the ghosts phenomenon"? No, you'd say "ghost." Would you say "the felines phenomenon"? Would you say "the hot dogs phenomenon"? Would you say "the schools phenomenon"? No, no, and no. You'd use the singular. 💡 The Felights 💡 https://felight.carrd.co/ 💡 🪐 Cosmicals: 🔥 Apollo Fire the Sun God (12/3/16), ⭐ Piano Soul the Star Man (1/26/17) 🐉 Mythicals: ☁️ Indigo Blue the Sky Dragon (10/2/17), 🦑 Gelato Sweet the Sea Monster (12/11/22) 🦇 Nycticals: ⚡ Dynamo Lux the Shock Rocker (3/3/17), 🎸 Radio Hiss the Song Demon (2/8/00)
jean-luc February 27, 2018 Author Share February 27, 2018 Yes, yes, and maybe? I'd use the plural in most cases. Saying “the hot dog phenomenon” makes it sound like it's a phenomenon involving one specific hot dog. I don't visit as often as I used to.
