Moose May 10, 2012 Share May 10, 2012 A friend asked me if I knew how your ability to remember dreams and the vividness/interestingness of those dreams related to tulpaforcing.

Guest May 10, 2012 Share May 10, 2012 I'm having a weird experience lately, not exactly related to the OP post, but related to the topic. My tulpa hasn't started talking yet, but she moves around and I do get emotional response. Lately she also seemed to have gained more self-awareness, and, although I don't have any idea whether this is related or not, my dreams became really vivid. I never really used to remember my dreams, now in the past 10 days, with a single exception, I woke up every day remembering my dreams quite well. I'm wondering just how much can tulpae influence dreams, if at all. Especially after my last dream, which pretty much completely revolved around a girl with exactly my tulpa's (desired) personality. I haven't really worked on her personality for a long while, leaves me wondering if she could've influenced the dream in such a way. Of course there are other, possibly much more plausible explanations for this.
Guest May 10, 2012 Share May 10, 2012 I was capable lucid dreaming before I started working on my tulpa. The amount of dreams which are lucid has greatly increased since then. I can make my dreams more vivid/detailed if I become lucid during a dream, but sometimes the details just used to look wrong, but now that I'm spending a lot more time visualizing my tulpa, the dreams are not only more detailed, but almost automatically vivid. Yesterday, I've woken up in the middle of the night and couldn't quite fall asleep straight away, so I did a 1 hour tulpaforcing session. I went to sleep after it and pretty much all the dreams from that point on until the morning were both lucid and very vivid. I've kind of been careful not to think of my tulpa during these dreams as I'm afraid of messing something up. I've read in one of those /mlp/ threads of someone claiming that his tulpa became vocal after he had a lucid dream with it, but the personality turned out quite different from how he expected it to be. I don't know how much credibility to put into that post, but it might be worth keeping it in mind.

Perhaps the tulpa isn't affecting dreams, but the tulpaforcing itself? Tulpa: Brook Stage: We're back at the beginning

Perhaps the tulpa isn't affecting dreams, but the tulpaforcing itself? It's possible but I find it unlikely. When this started happening I was already tulpaforcing for almost a month, and it happened all of a sudden, and it kept up ever since.
Graywolf May 13, 2012 Share May 13, 2012 Hey - My tulpa still isn't moving around/talking/showing any signs of sentience yet, but yesterday I tulpaforced for longer than I ever have before and that night, I had a lucid dream after many nights of no lucidity. I realized earlier today that perhaps I won't even need to train myself to lucid dream at all (more than I already have). If it continues like this and I perhaps make a servitor to tell me to do a reality check when I start dreaming..? Irish May 13, 2012 Share May 13, 2012 I guess it's pretty cool to remember my dreams I don't usually have many but when I do I remember them completely.
Graywolf May 13, 2012 Share May 13, 2012 I don't usually have many but when I do I remember them completely. But.. you have a dream whenever you go into REM sleep. Which should be around the same amount of times every night, if you get enough sleep. Tulpa: Brook Stage: We're back at the beginning
