Some people have heard me talk about "tulpa food" and wondered what I meant by that. In the Melian Show day dreams I do with Davie (my wonderland) I have a magic feast hall where there is a huge table always full of a variety of delicious food. I have these huge meals there. I eat fast and I take impossibly huge bites like a cartoon character. I can eat all I want and never get fat! I can eat all the things that Davie can't eat when he is on a diet, which is a lot of the time. When he does get a day off from his diet, I am there to encourage him to enjoy just eating. He really is a food addict and glutton at heart!

One of my favorite foods to eat in the dreamscape Melian Show is Spicy Peanut Butter Pizza with chocolate syrup on it! Davie and I share this. He can get it at only one restaurant and only gets it about once every few years. It is like eating a peanut butter cup pizza!

I was wondering how many of you share special imaginary tulpa food with your tulpa or just enjoy eating together?

That pizza looks crazy weird... but oddly satisfying...

Enjoy this image (below) of an ice cream sundae Melian and I enjoyed one day in a little 1950s themed diner! For some reason, Melian gets all excited when I eat sweets like ice cream. She is my inner girl, but also like a little kid! In her dreamscape she eats an identical item so that we are "sharing."

I'm not sure it's ever particularly been referred to as "tulpa food" but tulpas definitely are known to eat imaginary wonderland food for pleasure.

If my imaginary sense of taste was as vivid as my physical one, I would never stop eating.

I eat huge meals in my dreamscape mansion! For some reason I do love to eat. OH and walk on the table and throw food at the fairies. ~Melian

My girls have tricked themselves into thinking they need to eat at least once a day, if I don't let them have what I'm eating they usually make their own food. Luna actually likes to cook, so usually what they do is conjure up the raw ingredients and she makes them into food. I guess for them eating is less about the act itself and more of a communal thing that they do as an excuse to sit down together, not to mention it's a good way to help pass the time.

We make food in our wonderland, but we do it as more of a joke.

This is the only thing we've written down, it was the first time we ever did something like this.

APHELION'S RECIPE TO MAKING TULPA WONDERLAND* FRENCH FRIES *Only works in wonderland.

Ingredients

-ketchup

-mustard

-mayonnaise

-salt

-potato chips

-more mustard

-cabbage

-lettuce

-jalapeno peppers

-even more mustard

-chocolate

How to prepare

First, place the ingredients on a frying pan and boil them for 3 minutes. Next, put all of the ingredients in a bowl and just mix them around for 5-8 minutes. After mixing, put the bowl into a hot tub and cook it for 10 seconds. Your meal will be wet but it probably won't stop you.

Yep, there's food...

Rei likes a lot of organicky veggie stuff (I would eat like this in the waking world, but I can't afford it - yet) and Chinese food, and Tove seems to really like peanut-butter and jelly.

Other things ingested/imbibed in wonderland:

  • hummus with pita bread and shawerma (we were on holiday in a presumably fictional part of the Middle East)
  • various pub/sports-bar food
  • tequila
  • smoothies (Sheffield Island has a place that makes really good ones)
  • tea
  • hot chocolate
  • cotton candy

I was just telling Rei about a kind of cheesecake that's made by adding bittersweet chocolate and Ovaltine/Ovomaltine powder to neufchatel; she wants me to make her one now. (I want to make a physical world one myself, frankly - I kind of wish I had a heart-shaped springform pan to do it justice...)

Rei: more than a tulpa-she's a crisis counselor, an art therapist, a dietician, a relationship coach, a team morale expert, an athlete, an adventurer, a hawt wife, an incredible lover, an amazing mom, my best friend.

Tove: she's not a little tigress anymore! She's still the go-to gal for soccer advice and creative inspiration, especially monster design and all things cinematic...congrats on your engagement!
